- Lovely early sunrise flight from Sydney to Gold Coast with the smart looking Jetstar A320. FlyTampa Sydney has been one of my favorite sceneries since the P3D days and offers many interesting domestic routes including multiple flights to the Gold Coast which offers a great RNP approach into runway 14.

Absolutely awesome! Been to both Sydney and the Gold Coast IRL and they're really beautiful places, just with my 3080 could run msfs that well!!! Keep up your epic videos, I'd love to see you fly from YMHB in Australia, it's my home airport. 😄

I have a 3080 and runs msfs fine enough. I’m on the high graphics preset because ultra really doesn’t look any different. Only thing I leave on ultra is clouds and I don’t use any dlss just use TAA and I’m on 1440p resolution. Certainly lags a bit at the big airports in the fenix but overall it’s flyable 😁
@@oliverek7 nice! I believe I’m running it at 4K and I do have DLSS on. It definitely runs the simulator fine, but as you said, it tends to struggle at the larger international airports. I’ll give it a go with your settings!

I have to say you are one of the most consistent with landing this aircraft. What would you say were your top tips for good landings?
Practice. The first few Fenix landings were absolutely horrible and I still think it can be very tricky, but what works best for me is just before 30ft, give slight nose up input to counter the airbus lowering the nose, then idle and flare as needed based on how fast your are descending. Instead of holding the stick back giving separate flare inputs and leaving the stick (close to) neutral in the final stages of the flare lets it settle in its own ground effect pretty well, but then again. It’s very tricky and every landing is different

Is every landing you make so perfect or do you sometimes have to try twice?
No second tries, but the not so nice landings don’t make it to the CZcams channel :) fortunately most of my landings are very nice
But can you please fly to Düsseldorf sometime?

4070 running better than my 4090 kinda crazy my sim is never that smooth
Are you using frame generation? And what are your settings like? This is the 4070 Ti Super which has a significant increase in VRAM which enables me to enjoy the sim in 4K
settings are maxed out tlod 200 and olod at 200 i am using frame gen but im on 2k

The tlod 200 and olod 200 has a massive performance decrease on my end. I’m running both at 100
