I dont know how much could weigh one project of garage band aprox but with the last update of ios and garage band i'll have only 10 gb. Because i dont know if its better to go with an ipad air 32 gb or an ipad air 2 with 16 gb. Sorry can you help me with these?

my ipad is 9.3.5 and garageband is 2.1.1, garageband was free for me but i can't seem to be able to access live loops.
Im triying yo change the velocity of mi midi keyboard but the option of velocity doesnt appear, can you tell me what i need to do ?

How do we master the track? It sounds like it was recorded on an old tape player when I share it.
Hi There. Mastering in GarageBand can be hard. I recommend using an audio interface to make sure you have good quality recordings. I recently recorded a video about my experience recording an EP in GarageBand which you can check out here: czcams.com/video/RsuQi3LuhxA/video.html.

SOMEONE PLEASE: I record music onto my iMac at home but can't record vocals cuz my roommates are always around. So I want to buy an iPad, somehow open the tracks on there, & record vocals at my friend's house. >>> Is that possible? Do iPads use the same full version of Garageband as a computer? Great recording app however my updated iPad 2 will not down load because it requires ISO 10... not updates for iPad 2 will be available and Apple doesn't download previous versions of Garage band... typical from Apple BS.

Just downloaded Garageband for my ipad. The latency when recording makes monitoring almost unusable. Wish there were a way to switch to direct monitoring (bypassing all effects) to minimize the horrible latency issues.
Ted Tanner record using clean and then add effects afterwards, the only thing that makes the monitoring slow is pitch control

This updated version doesn't play more than one note at the same time, it cuts out the other notes soon as you move up! It's as if the synths have suddenly become monophonic! How do I fix this? If I can't how do I revert back to the previous version on my iPad?
mesedrew some keyboards only allow one note but most allow more, try the alchemy pads

Pete Johns i'm using my built-in microphone on my iphone but I have a boya by m1. I use an irig for my guitar but when I record it also picks up the background noises. How to remove the noise or reduce?
If you have an interface or a microphone and the input is clean by you're still gettin background noise, it may be more about the environment around you where you are recording. I record in a walk in robe (cupboard) to ensure there is as little background noise as possible. In short, the smaller the space and the less reflective (hard) surfaces the better. The other option is to use an interface with a dedicated microphone pre-amp and instument input which will get a generally cleaner signal.

Am I the only person who clicked the plus button which took me to an ‘import song’ menu that you can’t get out of?
It hasn’t frozen, but there is simply no button to navigate back to the main menu.
This seems like the most basic design flaw of any app I’ve witnessed in my life.

Clearly you missed the point, there are many non musicians who will find this very helpful.
I am a professional musician and I appreciated this. Everyone has to start at the beginning with technology. I am excited about all the possibilities with GarageBand. A real musician doesn’t need the musical aspects explained, just the technical aspects, which you did nicely. Thank you for making this tutorial. Cheers!
