I *recorded* this video, exported as WAV, analyzed the spectrum, and found that this actually makes the noise of 19000hz.
CZcams's compression has affected this frequency, so if you can't hear it here it don't mean you can't hear :d
The reason you can't hear it is that CZcams cuts off all sound above the frequency of 16.3 Hz.
We all know, that CZcams does not effectively transmit the audio. Don't tell me you can hear 17 Khz on this video.

Nope didn't hear it. 18 kHz isn't even in the video. Frick I went to a stupid sound site and played 8 kHz with the volume all the way up and now I have a bad headache. But yeah,19 kHz sounds more like a high pitched noise than a little bit of static. You ask me, it's all in your head.

What's the noise we're supposed to be looking for? I hear a light static kind of noise but I don't know if that's just my headphones or my hearing.
I think, maybe CZcams or my speakers converted all sounds to one standard HZ. Because I'm 29 and I hear 16 000 Hz, 17 000 Hz, 18 000 Hz and here 19 000 Hz I hear too.

Hello, thank you now i know that i can hear till 18000 hz but not 19000 hz thaths a nice idea what you've done with this :) because my teacher said that teenager can hear till 20000 Hz i couldn't but my brother now i can annoy hom with this :)
the easy way to tell is to pause it and see if you still hear anything. It's not very loud to me either, but I guess its not supposed to be since i'm 22, i guess if you have good hearing you can hear it but its just not as piercing as it would be to younger ears

Can't tell if everyone is lying or not- I downloaded this and there are no 19000 hz present... I increased the volume by 50db and looked at the waveform with a parametric equalizer there is static noise across all frequencies but no human would be able to hear it. You're most likely hearing noise via your headphones/pcs lol.
People saying youtube max is 16000 or 17000 hz I heard this the zzzzz and not the air coming from the speaker and it's not an imagination I can't believe it isn't there

You can't know whether or not you can hear the 19mhz based on this video because that frequency is lost due to youtube compressing the video even in 1080p.

the recording is defective. No sound out even with a Dbm meter 2 feet away. You need to redo this to make it work. no wonder people cant hear it !!!

Correct. CZcams cuts off sound above 16 kHz. Www.onlinetonegenerator.com gives the proper tone, so does one of the sound generator apps.
This is nonsense. I can’t hear and then went to an on line test and could hear not only sub 20 hz but close to the lowest decibles on most and on the lowest on some. And I’m 42

I see many people going on about how CZcams cuts frequencies that are really high, and blame not hearing this on that. However, I can hear this perfectly fine, it is quite unpleasant. It's like someone is drilling in your ears, and the motor is going insanely fast. For those who will call bs on me, I have had my ears tested many times in my life (I am 17) and can indeed hear these frequencies.
In conclusion, if you can't hear this, there are 2 possible explanations, first, your setup is incorrect, meaning you have a lot of noise around you, and/or your speakers/headphones/headset is damaged. The 2nd possible reason for an inability to hear this, is, simply put, you can't hear this frequency, it's too high for your ears.
PS: Don't get mad at me for saying the above, it is just how things stand. Also, now I have a headache...
