For my cousin's high school graduation party, I prepared a whopping 14 liters of rum punch following this recipe. The response from the attendees was incredible, as they absolutely loved it and consumed all of it during the event. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, especially since everyone preferred the rum punch over prestigious spirits like gold label and Glenlevet whiskey. Thanks to all of you for making this a fantastic success!

I made ginger and honey syrup with little pimento dram as a substitute , couldn’t find the strawberry syrup so added a little molasses... This is amazing punch that took us back to our honeymoon! Praise this rum punch!

This recipe is the closest to the rum punch I tasted in Jamaica. Its delicious! I had to go on a mission for the white rum and strawberry syrup. I couldn't find Kelly's but I found Grace's at a Caribbean market. I also cheated and use ginger beer from the Caribbean market. Next time I will grate the ginger as pops suggested. Thank you for posting this! If I'm ever able to find the ginger and the Kelly's I know it will be even better.

This video is informative. I give the father "props". I love what he did. I purchased Wray & Nephew, and I believe the person that first made a drink for me using this, made drink WRONG! It drove me kinda crazy and called this rum, "the devils drink" for years. So now, I want to try it again, but KNOW what I am doing. (geez) So, I thank the father for his meticulously explaining and showing. But the creator of this video, probably felt he was talking to stupid people that do not know what "grating" means, etc. LOL! He insulted the viewers more throughout this video. And I don't think he realized it. And he talked toooo. But I give him B+! Because he has courage to make videos. I do not. : )
I actually used all the ingredients you suggested! My Jamaican Rum Punch was a hit last night also my local grocery store named "Food Choice" had the Jamaican strawberry syrup.☺ Although the second batch they wanted me to splash Heeny in it! 😒😐🤣

So probably making up to a total amount of 2-3 litres
Luckily there’s a Caribbean shop close by to me so here’s hoping that they sell the concentrated ginger (or something similar that they might suggest)
And regarding my rum: I certainly have Wray Nephews but I think I’ll just go with regular (but good) golden rum
Like this group of friends; whenever we meet at their home for lunch on occasion; I usually bring a bottle of rum which lasts us the whole day (making rum cokes)

Just a heads up.... That rum says 63% abv which is 126 proof.... So... we obviously do have access to that 120 proof rum 😂

This is the closet to the way I make my rum punch only thing is I add pimentoseed and Guava & mango necter and instead of the dark rum I use coconut rum MY DAD does the 1234 method but we do the millennium version

I’m making this tomorrow
I’ve got an 151 proof golden rum (double strength than the uk) that I got given by my dad when he travelled to the eastern part of the Caribbean for a cruise
(So Barbados, Grenada, St Lucia, Tortola etc)
So the real deal
That said I only have the one bottle which I don’t want to use all of, so I’ll likely use around 600-700ml
The rest I’m gonna supplement with barcardi & Malibu (Malibu as said in another recipe)
And as stated in another recipe I’ll be using (ground) nutmeg instead of ginger
The syrup (different brand), orange, pineapple and Hawaiian punch are all basically the same (real not from concentrate)
Fresh limes too
And then following your recipe and measurements
Overall it’s still gonna be full of flavour and strong in alcohol (even in a weaker state as recommended- as party and also to keep guests from being totally wasted/hammered/very drunk)

I messed up a little
Whilst it did taste very nice
(The flavour was like the diluted-party version by mistake)
Of the part rum of your recipe (1 weaker part of rum & 2 overproof rum)
It was due to using 1 part overproof 151 proof golden
1 part barcardi rum
& 1 part Malibu
So you could taste the rum but not strong enough
My 1st batch & try made 8 litres of rum
(As my 24 limes & pulp made 36oz, not 24oz as you recipe would’ve- so I had to made 3 times the amount you did)
All good!!!
On my next batch I will definitely use twice as much overproof/strong rum to that of a 40% volume rum like barcardi

Here in Canada they sell the full strength ovenproof 63% (126 proof). I made Planters punch for me and my girlfriend man I have never been more drunk and absolutely sloshed the next day. Drink responsibly!

Sorry for so late a response Kim Love. I'm Kooliebkoolin's dad. You'll get approximately 4500ml, or approximately 4.75 quarts, 152 ounces of punch from that recipe. If it's for a party, and you don't want it as strong, you can add more juices which will yield more.
