the futuristic yet classy dial and colour scheme is unmatched, it makes the Nautilus look pretty ordinary by comparison I reckon
I find that the presence of the Nautilus isn't conveyed well through video. In person both are imposing pieces, in their own right.

Still my favorite watch in its category. It just has facets and finishes all over like no other and it really shows in dinner lighting.
I got one with the blue dial - boutique version. Bought it end of last year, still have not worn it ,but enjoying looking at a few times a week - it is a piece of art. Stunning!
Beautiful watch. Definitely a grail piece. Just can't get with the prices these command nowadays.

Always preferred the smaller RO. Funny enough I owned a 42mm Offshore Diver on the rubber strap as it was a better fit than the 41mm regular RO. It was a big and junky piece but I felt so in love with this perfect summer piece that I quit lusting after the standard RO. In the end I sold the Diver due to bad customer service and quality control... But when the wounds have healed I probably will go for this exact reference 15450ST! Thanks for showing, Tim.

Why are some royals oaks different than other when it comes to the back of the watch, sometimes it shows the internal mechanics and sometimes it shows a writing ( written as royal oak )
Probably just me but having "AUTOMATIC" on the dial kinda cheapens the look of the watch.
The new 15550ST omits the automatic wording thankfully
