Those screws that you had left over are for the plastic thing that goes in the window. They stop it sliding completely apart when adjusting and also provide locking so the window cant shove it smaller
We don’t have sliding windows in the uk 🇬🇧 so that explains it .
How do you use the screws to lock it into position I can’t figure it out?

I just got one of these today, and it’s started to kind of rattle, but if I set up continuous drainage from the top drainage. It stops rattling. Any ideas?
I think you’re only : options are leave it with a continuous draining pipe into a container or return. It’s noisy enough without a rattle . Also check adjusting the feet
In how many minutes it will cool the room?
Spins what temperature you set it to but in an hour you’re already noticed the difference
Do u need to fill this Machine with Water 💧?
No but you have to empty water out of it every week.
My problem is I can’t leave the window slightly open because I live in a busy road

No you have to vent out the heat .
Think the heat coming out would defeat the purpose of the AC

I have the pipe constantly draining into a container. the water deffo smells chemically (don't drink)

No, you don’t need to add water the way the air conditioner work so it does create a tank of water that needs to be emptied every couple of days

No need to add water . Water tank fills as part of cooling process . That needs to be emptied.

Yes so you can only use when in the house . Longer term option would be to have a vent hole fitted in the same way a tumble dryer is vented.
