- Pink Sauce Lady is now the victim. She goes on talk show Karamo to tell someone who made a video about taking her pink sauce to the lab that she's not special. It's all very weird and embarrassing. Apparently that interview has been deleted.

The part where she held her hand and told her she wasn't special and repeated passive aggressive comments really made my skin crawl

well they deleted the episode so guess they know they've done wrong
I complained to Lays before about a Flaming Hot Chips bag that had essentially plain chips in them (which i had pictures of). They had me take pictures of the batch number and the dates on the bag and they had me tell them which store i bought it from. They recalled every bag of that flavor from that store and then sent me 5 coupons for basically 5 free family sized bags of their chips. They assured me they would do better. I didn't necessarily need the the coupons but i was glad they took those bags out of the store because other people would have not been getting what they purchased. They didn't argue or gaslight me. They saw a defect and they took the steps to fix it. And THATS good business.
That's because lays is a real business who knows how to actually sell their products.
Yeah, your comparing a billion dollar company that is still around because they have taken care of there customers over the years, have heard similar stories to this about them.

As a black woman I'm disappointed in everyone in that studio even if they're paid actors I hope the money was worth it. Doing all that to that poor girl
I very much get the ‘we’re supporting one of our own’ vibe with the host and, most likely, the audience. It’s a shame some people can’t remain objective.
Right! It is embarrassing. She’s wrong and her victim tour is ridiculous and makes it hard to want to support her in the future.
Unfortunately in this day and age, it takes death and a family willing to sue to get others to take obvious nonsense seriously.
C'mon, don't get mad at the four family members that clapped for Pink Sauce Lady. Her kids don't know any better.
Nah as a black woman i 100% agree with the race thing. When I was first told about the Pink Sauce lady, some people thought the criticism was just not wanting to see black women succeed. But if you “do your research” you can clearly see that tons of people are getting the shit spoiled, discolored, exploded, not properly stored etc, and people are allowed to call that out bc it’s a faulty product and probably unsafe to eat in some circumstances. If she “knew the industry” so much she wouldn’t be sending out sauce bombs, would know what the FDA was well before, and would not take people criticizing a deformed product as a personal attack
Have I been watching too much Charlotte Dobre or did you write that in her voice? 😂
She's out to make a quick buck without having to face any accountability for her products
@Gays4Wumbology *So eloquently said! Thank you for your valuable input, I completely agree with you!*
@meinenklinke You just been watching too much of whomever Charlotte is.
Thank you! I see too many folks trying to play the race card for no damn reason and I just shake my head. They're making us all look bad.
When I realized the crowd was on her side I felt like I was being gaslit, I can't imagine how awful that experience must have been for her. I don't even think she fully understands how damaging it was to her own mental health.

I like how he tells her they should build each other up but sits idly by while this girl tells her she's not important. AND tells her to do research and yet doesn't do ANY himself on how bad the sauce was and how many other complaints were made. A+ for telling the wrong side of the story.
Yeah, wtf was that? I am so disappointed in Karamo, oh my god.
The audacity of Karamo of privatising the video, not issuing an apology and continuing uploading videos discussing mental health issues on his talk show, while he gaslit his guest and swiping all the problems (and grave dangers!) with Pink Sauce lady's business under the guise of " minor packaging issues" is astonishing. His discount Dr Phil show tweets are getting ratio'ed right now.
Oh and "Chef" Pii proclaimed herself as chef, which is something you have to at least go to culinary school/ work under a certified chef, while she didn't know what FDA stands for... And served potential botulinism in a bottle
Gordon Ramsey would tear them both apart
Wait, the video is still up but privated? Hilarious.

Great summary of so much wrong with America frankly - the primary religion of money and business MUSt be protected at all costs, reality and truth be damned.
They gotta stand together even if they're wrong 🤦♂️
If a customer receives a bad product, they have the right to leave a bad review.
Facts!
But that would hurt the business's feewings 🥺🤧
As well as getting info as to what the Fawk your putting into your own body, even if it means sending off to a Lab
And the thing is, those honest reviews help you with your business too. You get to learn proper ways to manage your product etc. This lady is just too narcissistic to admit she made a mistake (actually, no, it wasn't just a mistake. She put her customers' lives in danger. It was a crime.) She takes things too personally. Instead of growing from it, she instead tried to manipulate and gaslight everyone. It's disgusting.
She is lucky she is not facing at least a class action lawsuit for the product at most charges for endangering health and safety. Where I'm from you can't sell things from your kitchen, like you need a legit commercial space (separate from living quarters and potential contamination) with every inspection under the sun to even begin advertising on FB or any other platform. Also if you are shipping food products you have to have a fridge van or a contract with a company that has temperature controled vehicles and you document the temp before it leaves your kitchen and upon delivery and if the temp is in the registered danger zone everything in the truck is scrapped, if it contains eggs and it has been between 48 and 72 hours after it was made it also has to be thrown out (or eaten by the employees, used to work in a small bakery and I always took home free 48h+ pastries and baklava from shifts). So I'm absolutely horrified about something that is supposed to be consumed being in the regular post.
As a small business owner (not food-related, but still), I don’t understand how Pink Sauce Lady is able to act this way. I would be BEYOND embarrassed after making such drastic mistakes. I would be apologizing to everyone, and honestly thanking the girl for making the video so I knew there was a problem. The audacity is insane.
She strikes me as a narcissist. They have no shame.
Pink Sauce lady is the perfect example of how NOT to take corrective criticism. Instead, she takes it personally, which is about the lowest standard of professionalism there is.
This lady is lucky that people haven’t sued yet
Yet.
I'm sure there's a lawyer out there assembling a class action lawsuit

I think it's pretty insulting comparing Pink Sauce Lady to a drug dealer. A few weeks ago I told my my dealer that I felt the bags had been a bit light lately, the next time I saw him I got a bag for free. That's customer service!
For real though, drug dealers also are usually willing to give you a sample if you're looking to spend money on something you are unsure on what the quality will be... did pink sauce lady do that?? No because the samples would all be rotten and nasty.

As a black girl, I must say, it IS a black thing. This Karamo dude seemed to be standing up for his sister. Get it? His sister. And I think Chef Pi's confidence rose cos she's been on another black-owned show. But a lesser known internet show and the host was a black girl. Their angle was "Haters are gonna hate." So this kept enabling her to not take responsibility. And they picked a critic that was easy to soft bully. But ANYMAWHOO...Karamo has taken down the episode now cos of all the backlash. Like...we ain't your audience bruh. Were not stupid. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣
This makes me so upset because there are so many legit, reputable black-owned businesses giving their all, but the serial food poisoner is getting the spotlight. And Karamo and the audience literally praised her for dangerous business practices?? Like, what??

I bet pink sauce lady felt so good after that show thinking that her image was totally turned around and this would be an amazing PR boost she needed. Only to get home and find out everyone hates her even more now because of it.

She still got publicity and more people probably bought the product because they saw it on the show☹️ and I bet she still thinks that all the hate from the talk show is just because they're "jealous" or "haters" still not taking responsibility or realizing she's done anything wrong.
This feels like a Black Mirror episode. She goes to a tv show and then the Pink Sauce Lady, the host, and the audience all starts gaslighting her. She tries to point out facts, but both of them are interrupting her and changing the narrative while trying to explain why she is in the wrong.
This shit is crazy. Can you imagine if when doctor Phil interviewed the crazy Jilly juice lady, he defended her and gaslit the skeptics?
Karamo is just as much part of the problem at this point too. He just hid the video and refuses to acknowledge his mistake and his followers that did see it and trust him might still buy this dangerous product. There is no way he wasn’t paid out for this.
it is just what hungry, hungry lawyers need.
I don't think she would've made enough money to pay for a bribe. Probably just another idiot who knows nothing about what happened and wants to "defend our own" like someone else said. I get his sentiment and what he's doing, but I also agree with others who are saying he's making us look bad. Just a bunch of foolishness...
So ironical that he says she need to do the research to the lady before making claims projecting at its finest
they said she stop shipping the product out so no one can buy it now but guess teaming up with a other big company that likely fix it and she stepping away from it but still not right for him to take her side and clearly shows he didn't know anything about the product or even did research for himself but yet tells her to research it
That’s fine it would just be natural selection at work
She should go on more shows so she can keep making a fool of herself.
a show should pair this delusional pink lady with some person who just keeps giving her shit until she starts crying!
That would be equally entertaining and infuriating.
no thats how u build her ego up even more, she obviously isnt self aware
Especially on Dr. Phil
Yeah at this point that will be a more consistent brand of hers than her pink sauce
She just could've dye mayonnaise pink and make it a whole publicity stunt. And portray it as social experiment to show the audience that they shouldn't believe everything that's on the internet. But instead she chose to almost poison them and didn't even said sorry 💀
Since when has a brown woman EVER had the ability to think that critically lmao
MatPat from the channel Food Theory did a video on this a while back. He tried to recreate the sauce by going by the Nutrition Facts and Ingredients label. The result was something VERY different than what was actually in the bottle. He also pointed out the lack of a batch number which would not indicate FDA approval. A lot of shady goings on surrounding this "Pink Sauce".
Ken saying it looks like a race issue was exactly what I was thinking. He’s the type to “stand up for tha sistas.” I mean it shows with his other content tbh. She should be held accountable and take responsibility for her actions. The host should admit his obvious bias and take responsibility as well and apologize to that girl for blatantly gaslighting her.
it was a race issue in this case because it's karamo. he is all about black businesses and doesn't want to bash them and bring them down regardless of who they are and what they do. everything about him is race based anyway.
And the absolute worst part is that the video was quietly taken down (so obviously everyone working on that show knows that people did NOT care for what Karamo said). It’s been DAYS and we haven’t seen any form of apology for siding with a person producing dangerous food.
Yeah it’s a race thing.
I can’t imagine attacking a customer in general, let alone holding their hand and telling them to their face how they’re not special. It’s incredible how some people are okay with gaining fame by being stubborn and deceiving people. She had so many opportunities to rectify her wrongs.

When you said it wasn't being sold anymore I went to the website of it to check for myself. I don't see it anywhere about being sold anymore until I went to the Press tab and scrolled down to find one little bit that said "You have probably heard of the internet-famous Chef Pii’s Pink Sauce that went viral on TikTok. Well, it made headlines yet again this week since Chef Pii has partnered with Dave’s Gourmet to make an FDA-approved, shelf-stable, version of the famous fuchsia formulation." The "build each other up as women" comment pissed me off. What he really wanted was for the blonde woman to indulge Pink Sauce Lady with Toxic Positivity.
Building each other up means NOT shitting on ppl just to shit on them. It means encouraging them in positive & productive ways. It means giving legit critiques when needed, but in a caring manner. It definitely never means not making the same criticisms you'd make to a man just cuz the person is a woman. Allowing a woman to sell a defective or potentially harmful product just cuz she's a woman isn't "building her up" it is setting her up to fail.
I feel so bad for the girl for having an honest, unbiased opinion. She genuinely seemed like she was trying to help the lady with her product with constructive criticism. Yet, it went over all the show participants' heads
As a "black" person, I'd love to point things like this out. That interview was ethnically motivated. I call out predjudice when I see it and to me, they tried to be subtle about it. Bring on the hate speech!
They don’t even talk about the test results. But since later on the pink sauce lady started fixing all her issues this girl did not want to put her on blast by showing some test results that could bring her company down.
That girl is being waaay too nice. If it was me, and I was treated that way on a talk show, I would be releasing the results as soon as I got home. I wouldn't even take my shoes of before making those tests results public. Maybe I'm petty, but I would make it my mission to shut that company down. I'd do it for free but I'd make it my new job.
@@kickballfever Yeaaah I'm pretty calm and usually the one in my family (on both sides) that is the mediator for problems, but oh as soon as I tried to take the high road and say "it's a learning experience for both sides" and the host said "no, just you"; a switch would have been flipped and EEEVERYTHING would have been coming out. They probably wouldn't have been able to post the show because I would have done everything possible to bury that pink chick and that smug bastard.
She's been threatened with legal action so she can't talk bout it
Regardless of any other aspects, AlluredBeauty did nothing wrong sending a sample of sauce for analysis. How many other cases have happened over time of people eating or drinking products, feeling ill or weird, and then sending remaining product for analysis and then contamination is found? I guess I'm old but I can recall numerous occasions of this which led to criminal charges.
This is exactly what happened when I was a kid. We ordered Chinese takeout, got severe food poisoning, sent the leftovers off for testing and the place ended up being shut down.
@@melanieo.k.709 really?? That's insane but glad they got shut down. I didn't even know you could send food like that
@@saraamber40 Yeah, it's some kind of restaurant Health & Safety line in the UK, you call, they send a freepost box to you and you send it to them.
It was really bad - it almost killed my Grandma. Turns out, the Chicken Chow Mein was contaminated with E-Coli!
There has been so many other reviews where people are gagging screaming throwing it around and absolutely slamming the name of the product but she chose THIS GIRL? that actually gave a fair review
Thank god Ken said it. That talk show interview stopped being about the pink sauce and more about gaslighting a white woman about "Don't you think you should feel a little bad about shaming a wahman of color's business???"
My anger issues WOULD NOT handle her talking like that 😭
Antoni is 100% a chef, and he does basic recipes because most of the people he helps don't cook at all, they explain that in the episodes lol
Edit: and I had no clue about Karamo's show but I agree with people shame on him for gaslighting this girl...
I would love to see Antoni talk about his thoughts on how the sauce is produced and shipped tbh
Ive visited his restaurant in NYC it was really good
He became a chef over time, but there was so much wrong with his cooking even off the show (online and in promotional interviews) that It was clear he was a beginner cook as well. Look, I get it, hess extremely easy on the eyes and has a cool personality that meshes well with all of the other guys, but he wasn’t a Ted Allen, or even an Ina Garten. The funny thing is, he has a B.A. in Psychology, while Karamo appears to have no degree or accreditation in Psychology/ Social Services/ Counseling accreditations, and the only thing I can find is the Washington post amending their article to reflect that he has no qualifications expect “Correction: In this interview, Karamo Brown was referred to as a licensed psychotherapist and social worker. That was incorrect. We regret the error. He has trained in psychotherapy and worked in social services.”. Sounds like Antoni should have been the “wellness/ mental health” person on the show, and not Karamo.
I'm not buying any pink sauce. Ever.
You guys are covering this very very well. Thank you for this video
I bet money the original video was deleted simply due to the comments pointing out the obvious: Chef Pii is crazy and the host and audience are biased
It’s definitely backfiring, because the internet will not be letting Karamo and Pii forget lol
That interview was ridiculous, she was totally bullied and gaslighted 😤 Doesn’t surprise me they had to delete it. Apparently pink lady has signed a deal with a large manufacturer so it’ll be on shelves soon so I can still not try it
yeah, and if you do decide to try that you need to get a bottle of that other "pink sauce" (Pepto Bismol) on your way out of the store, because you will probably need it!
Oh fantastic, now I can get food poisoning to go!
Yeah it’s a flop
Amy’s Baking Company SEETHING right now lol
An entire crowd of people hyping up a delusional woman 😭😭
I’m a black woman and I can confirm this was racism, but I’m not sure it was intentional. Sometimes when put against another race (I’ve been guilty of this) we tend to gravitate around people who look like us. Black people have been oppressed for so long that sometimes we band together automatically so that we have comfort. It’s like being with family and it’s a hamartia in the black community. Sometimes we band together before all the facts come out and that is damaging to everyone involved. So sad to see it done by influential people.
This is insane... They must be friends. Its disgusting to watch
they might be now. they got to talk backstage and he is supporting her and such. it's annoying.
Funny Buff said glitter, because that’s why Ally ended up sticking her finger in the sauce. There was a piece of glitter in her sauce.
Someone needs to start Purple Sauce and destroy the Pink Sauce lol.
When Ken said can you think of a company that points fingers at the customers.
Me: Amys Baking Company
I have a feeling that the Pink Sauce Lady bribed both Karamo & the audience to have them back her up.
Lol nah she wouldn’t need to do that because they’re all racists who backed her up just because the woman who called her out is white.
What audiences?
@@Zack_Zander the soundboard
She was born black and they were born black that's all she needed.
"Your responsibility is to build each other up as woman"
I HATE that mindset. Like no it is not my job as a woman to always side with other women. That is SO toxic.
Same
As someone who was part of a Dr. Phil audience twice, yes they tell you when to clap when to smile etc.
This show is DANGEROUS! Who gave him a platform to pretend to help people?! I don't know what type of person he is off the air, but on air I've heard him give some crazy, hurtful advice! Just the other day, I caught the end of an episode with a couple trying to get help because the man was a cheater and kept accusing the woman of cheating. They both took a lie detector test. She passed, he failed, surprise, surprise! This man's advice to the woman was to stay with the guy, but also feel free to cheat on him since he probably won't stop cheating on her. What?! 😲
I’m glad atozy brought on that woman because the narrative the show went with was a mess and so off.
The lady was just staring at Karamo like “bro you supposed to be the smart one”
Right I was looking the same way
What really irks me about this the fact she is repeatedly choosing to refuse to take responsibility for her products. Doesnt she realize that if her product makes someone sick or potentially kill someone she is completely liable. Shes the one thats not special.
9:00 reminds me of Amy's Baking Company Ramsey addition
"I guess she thought this was the moment to become viral" pot, meet kettle 🙄
The only sane person on that WHOLE talk show was the lady that reviewed the sauce. She actually knew what she was talking about and how things work, unlike that sauce lady who didn’t know how to do anything at all at all and for the talk show host to try and make her feel as if she did something wrong because she actually researched what was in the product and both the sauce lady and the host were just absolutely rude and demeaning towards her
I never comment on videos but I have to say I watch every one of Ken & Danes videos and they always cheer me up or distract me when I’m feeling anxious, idk but you guys are a pretty cool dynamic duo & pretty much the only reason why I watch CZcams these days❤️
This pink sauce lady reminds me so much of the lady with a “gift for skin” that made Trisha Paytas miracle elixir, that burned peoples skin.
Holy crap, I almost forgot about that
This whole thing has been a huge shitshow yet Karamo and Chef Pee completely ignore it like everyone on the internet isn't talking about it.
Chef Piss lol
That clapping was a sound board 100% XD
Or a flashing light that cues the audience what to do. They had to have told the audience to only react in the way the light says to.
Your videos are the only way I keep up with what is going on in the world fr lol
And now, that interview video gotten deleted, Thanos snapped out of existence, but as the old saying goes, Pepperidge farm remembers
