      I think Tyler has proven that he isn't afraid of work. Sure, he tries to think ahead and work smarter, not harder. No one can anticipate every problem or get to every job when there are so many. He has demonstrated his willingness to get the priority jobs taken care of despite it being uncomfortable, hard or taking long hours. How he stays cheerful and happy to be living the life he chose is what makes the channel so engaging. Usually finds pretty ingenious solutions too!

    • @gregedmand9939
      @gregedmand9939 Před rokem +4

      I still think that with a minimal amount of fabrication, Tyler could build a removable over the cab rack, that would let him carry at least 3 bales on the truck. I've seen straw and feed dealers do this for square bales, so it should work with rounds too.

You rock, Brother Tyler; keep up the good and nobile work!!

  • @ezinatx
    @ezinatx Před rokem +7

    Occam's Razor! The simplest solution is often the best solution. Now that you know where the posts go, drill some holes in the posts, the trailer boards, and the pallet. Insert dowels in the holes to hold everything in place. When the job is done, remove the pieces and save for next year. Kudos to the folks who suggested and kudos to you for implementing it. And 240 bales divided by 15 bales per load amounts to 16 trips.

    Tyler as handy a fabricator as you are, have machine shop in your area brake a set of "jeep" fenders for your trailer out of 11 ga sheet metal and replace the fenders on your trailer. You can then stack on the fenders without fear of ruining them. The front tire on your trailer is dangerously close to the tire. I can send you a drawing of how I do them when I build trailers if your interested.

    Hauling round hay on a short bumper hitch is monotonous to say the least, may need to keep your eye out for a 24ft gooseneck flatbed to get what you need hauled in a more manageable time frame. There may be a ROI on fuel saved if you could haul 20+ bales at a time, may save you a few trips to the field and back.
    Love the content, keep em coming!

You are not picking up cheap aluminum foil!!!!! , those chains that you tied the tractor down with , they are flipping heavy!And 2)this is why a lot of farmers don’t get into trouble. They are tired from working in the sun all day and just need to recharge in a shower and a cold drink.keep up the great work. I know the wife and kids are glad when your day is done😊
