    Thanks for the video, this is very informative. I would appreciate it if you could do a video to control the light, switch and heater separately. Thanks

      Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we do not have a video for that control option at this time. There is a diagram for a 3-function control in the installation manual on page 5. Great video, I've used a few of these now with success. My question is, can I use a modern timer for that heater switch or have the humidity sensor control both the exhaust fan and the heater? I would like to have the heater come on automatically, preferably. If not, at least a timmer that takes it off automatically.

    • @BroanNuToneLLC
      @BroanNuToneLLC  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Thank you for your question regarding the model 164. You can install a timer for the heaters. You would not be able to control the fan and heater with the humidity sensor. We would recommend contacting our Product Support directly at 800-637-1453 so we can go over your intentions and provide you with the proper information. We look forward to your call!

    Wonder if this worth it if you have a half bath with no heat ? In my new house I was shocked to find now heat in my half bath and it felt cold in winter not sure if I should go with this or a regular 80cfm

    How does it work if I want separate for each light, vent, heat? I have the red and black wires set up but when I turn the light on, the vent comes on too

    • @BroanNuToneLLC
      @BroanNuToneLLC  Před 9 měsíci

      Thank you for your question on the model 164. If you want each function to operate separately, you would have one switch leg to the red wire (light), one switch leg to the black wire for the second light (heat), and one switch leg to the blue wire (fan). The yellow wire is for the thermostat and would need to be hard-wired separately for constant power. All the white wires get tied together. If you need more help, please give our Product Support team a call at 800-637-1453.

    Would the Broan BHF80 have the same wiring harness? I'm replacing the old one with the recommended replacement

    • @BroanNuToneLLC
      @BroanNuToneLLC  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Thank you for your inquiry. This does not have the same wiring harness. You would need to replace the unit completely to use the BHF80 (non-lighted unit) or the BHFLED80 (lighted model). If you have additional specification, application or installation questions, please call our Product Support Team directly at 800-637-1453.

      I'm returning the replacement BHF80 to the big box stoe. I can't get to the brackets in the ceiling without taking the drywall out so I'm purchasing the replacement heater unit to go into the existing box. The heater is different in the BHF80 than in the broken one. @@BroanNuToneLLC
