- This is the story of a little baby crow that was found in early June of 2018 in a back alley with several dead birds around. We could not just ignore this tragedy and leave the little bird there to die like the others.
Click the link below to see the video of a baby magpie that we rescued from this same alley.

Lovely ❤
You guys are incredible, love you :) my sister did the same 15 years ago.
That is so cute
crows can learn to say some words like parrots aint that cute

The fact that the bird had no intention of leaving or flying away and decided to take upon a new life with a new family is absolutely sweet.
GhostRoses Im amazed
It's pretty sad that she had to be put in those circumstances in the first place, poor thing was just a baby when she was rescued. But bless these kind people for rescuing this baby and giving her a chance at a happy and healthy life like all creatures deserve. 🖤
I know her body is capable of flight, but does she know how to fly?
@@Spirittism End of the video said the tail feathers didn't develop properly.
crow: *i DEMAND FOOD*
human: **gives food**
crow: AHH HUHUHUHYUHUHUHHUHUHUHUYUUYUH
I had a similar situation when I was younger. I found a young crow like this about the same age, and raced it until it could fly. Once I released it, it would follow me around wherever I went when I was outside. This used to freak out my friends and family, but I loved it and I had a new friend.
what happened with the crow?
Is it still alive? You said “I had” what happened to it
Awww! Did you name it?
RAISED IT. Good job, thank you!
Why would that freak that out If I had a friend who had a pet crow I'd be pretty impressed
Am I the only one who thinks crows, ravens, and magpies are by far some of the cutest birds?
Same 😀
I agree with crows and ravens. A little less so on magpies but yeah
Pigeons are my favorite but I like all birds
You're not alone.
OMG i love them crows and ravens And magpies are they hit my love for birds🌹🖤
They *crow* up so fast😢😢
did u plan a pun for that?
Edit:Pun intended
Sometimes little crow has conversations with us.
"Give me the sandwich."
*"Little crow! You're a girl!"*
I love how excited he is saying that when crow is probably like "I already knew that silly human"
human: you can go now
crow: no, I'm tamed.
7:47 The pattern on your floor trips me out
Same. It kinda looks like its moving.
looks like bugs going really fast
Same
Came to the comments looking for this
Yea me too it also made me feel weird
German Shepherd sees the crow
“what kind of dog is this?”
This is a tortoise
Lol
A schnauzer I think
Smull dug
Lmao
I was a very young boy when my father was raising a baby pet crow. It was a wonderful pet. He named it Eighty proof. I was sad when it grew strong enough to leave, but I thanked it for it’s amusement and company. I said goodbye, and wished it well. I think he hung around, on and off for several years. It was always fun when he came by with his friends and family.
Eighty proof?
Hmm why
Great folks!
2:22 Me when I try to do something.
My mom covering for me:
“Haha! He’s very clumsy.”
American crow: *black and small*
European crow: *grey and chonky*
Ancient Warrior the crows around my area are the size of chickens pretty much. Same with the robins.
We feed the ones at the Asda and there super chonk
Yeah. The canadien crow is bigger than this American one I believe. But in canada w ehave ravens also which I like huge crows. There are about the size of eagles and even bigger.
European carrion crow black ,european hooded crow grey on a third of its torso
yes
Love the sound she makes when it's feeding time.

OMNOMNOMNOMNOM
That's so cool you rescue a crow. That crow will always remember you and tell other crows about you. Don't be surprised if other crows visit you.
These corvids are incredibly brilliant and some of the most intelligent birds. If they grow old enough they will be able to form intelligent sentences and form meaningful and longlasting bonds with humans even if you were to release him. Theyre absolutely crazy how cool they are
To release a corvidae is a huge mistake. It is usually killed by the others very fastly, considered as a stranger. The most agressive are the magpies ,that are the most territorial corvidae.I had a magpie for 14 years , she was always purchassed by the wild ones every time she went outdoor.
Very interesting, lovely. It has been proven crows recognize faces of people.
Very true.
sitting on a beach, accompanied by a GSD and a crow, probably with a cold beer in hand... if that's not heaven, i don't know what is...
Its very relaxing.
True
I underestimated how cute the screaming of a crow could be.
It takes a certain type of person with a warm heart to want to help save the life of a small little creature that needs help. I love people like this ❤️
Sometimes he has conversations with us
Crow: Alrglargalrgalrgalrgal
Her gobble-sound when eating is so funny.
Thank you so much for rescuing her she is so cute I just love the sound that she makes when she's hungry
Thanks for your nice comment too!
It's cute seeing how vocal she gets when she eats almost like she's saying thanks
Great video! when i was a kid i raised a crow! i found him on the road with a broken wing. took him to the vet and the vet asked us, if we wanted to take care of the crow...i fed and taught him how to fly! when he was fully recoverd i set it free in our local park and everytime i called its name he flew right towards me and sat on my shoulder... this video brought me good memories thank you!
Thanks for telling us the story of the crow from your childhood! Very sweet!
She’s so cute when she eats.

@@nomnomnom6908 i was literally about to say that...
The fact that crow could've flown off at any time after it healed, yet it chose to stay with you guys just gets me choked up
I love their sounds when they eat
AA AA AAAAGLGLGGLGLGLGLGLGGLLGGLRRR AAHHHH AHHHH GLGLGLG
I love how vocal crows are! I volunteered at a sanctuary and they had many crows, a few of which could talk!! They'd say "hi~" and they'd bark like dogs and say "I love you!" And other things haha
I didn't know crows could talk! I know American crows can't, but now I need to research this.
The crows in my back yard enjoy laughing at people and pets, as well as oinking like pigs!
people who say animals lives are ruined when kept in captivity do not realise animals dont have dreams or ambitions. if they are safe and not hungry theyre pretty happy.
It's very dependent on the animals, for examples orcas and other dolphins are miserable in captivity. The only recorded instances of orcas attacking people are orcas in captivity because the go crazy under those conditions. Intelligent animals all require recreation of some sort and many need social interaction and in some cases we can't properly provide that in captivity. Ravens and crows do well provided the have a good amount of room and friendly interactions though.
Depends on what kind of animals,... birds sure,,, bears and dolphins no
this is so peaceful to watch,❤️❤️
Glad to hear that.
Cute black chicken
God I love the noises crows and ravens make when they're babies and eating. It's so funny and cute.
Try pileated woodpecker. It is transfixingly beautiful. I am hooked.
I love that sound she makes when you hand feed her. Ca ca nom nom nom! So freaking adorable. ❤🪶🐦⬛🐦⬛
It's so beautiful seeing her grow into a healthy big beautiful girl.
“She is a great companion for a cup of coffee!”
A few seconds later: *screeching bloody murder for food*
Honestly I think crows are kinda a rainbow color because when the sun hits them, I see purple, blue, and other colors.
Little crow: *opens mouth* AAAA AAA NUM NUM NUM NUM NUM AA AA NUM NUM NUM NUM
Ok everyone's talking about little crow
But can we mention how cute magpie is too? He and she are so adorable 💙💙

Crow: OH YOU WHAT YOU DID
Other bird: LOOK WHAT YOU DID
Noticed an injured crow in backyard, after a couple days it was obvious it needed help. To the horror of a dozen of his buddies I caught him up and sent him off to a rehab center. For ten years I couldn’t use my own deck! Dive bombed and screamed at, even at the local park 1/2 mile away I’d get attacked! Other park goers would notice and ask me WTF dude? Smart birds with long, good memories!
This is the most amazing story. For the longest time I have always wanted a bird, and rescuing a crow sounds like a literal dream to me. I’m so glad you found her in time and she is okay and happy now. Truly amazing
Glad you enjoyed it!
I had some baby wrens on my front porch but they grew up snd wentvoff but it was fun watching them grow up
People like you give me back my hope in humanity. All the very best.Thank you!!
Thanks for watching and for your kind words!
the way she eats it so cute!!
"AHHHHHHH-nomnomnomnomnom"
The sound she makes while feeding is just so adorable
I wish we could trust our chickens enough to go to the beach with out running off or somehow drowning themselves 😁 beautiful little birds, I'm glad you rescued them!
Crows r extremely intelligent and have a great memory she may remember that day her family was killed.
Yeah, they do have good memory.
my mom had adopted an orphaned crow she found at her cottage when she was young. when she would come back after months away, the crow always remembered her and they would spend time together going to the lake and forests. makes me sad knowing that the crow could possibly remember the tragic events that happened to its family.
I am looking forward to an exciting revenge thriller.
Yeah, I read about that too, if crows were as tall and large as humans they would be far more intelligent.
But she will also remember the day she was rescued too.
Your family is lovely. Thanks for showing us your beautiful animals and for rescuing the birds. It's not easy having little ones!
Thank you so much, Andy!
4:37 the sound she makes when being fed sounds like yum yum yum... Just absolutely hilarious... and precious. 🤣💓
I love corvids! I'm also amazed at the different birds and dogs living together peacefully! Crow has a cute personality.
Peach, Cherry, Maple, and Pie.
Noticing a pattern here.
When it comes too food, I'm just like that bird
May you find compassion as great as you've shown to this animal everywhere you turn in life.
Both birds are gorgeous, thank you for caring for them.
You are so kind
You did really well because young crows are so noisy! I used to feed a young adult crow for months out the back of a cafe, after a few weeks it had no issue coming up to me and getting handfed food daily :)
Thanks for watching and telling us about the beautiful bird you were feeding! Glad to hear that!
Did this crow ever bring anything?
I've heard stories of wild crows bringing small trinkets to their (long time) feeders.
atlachanacha it brought nothing but friends and noise:) shame youtube doesnt allow photo comments i could show u.
I never thought I would be emotionally invested in a god damn bird
I love these siblings. Crows and magpies are so fascinating.
These beings, both human and non, are so heckin' sweet, and I am all for it.
It might be that the mother was shot and the poor little thing ventured out to find out what happened. Crows even have funerals! As a youngster, my friends and I would venture out into the woods and my friends would just shoot birds for the sake of it. Although I never shot a crow myself, I hang my head in shame sometimes for being friends with those arseholes. They were arsehole for other reasons too.
Glad to hear that you were not involved with that behaviour.
It honestly looks more like cats got to them
Actually, it's been proven that they don't have funerals. It's not mourning but they are actually surveying the scene for danger. They scanned a birds brain and found out they weren't using the emotional part of their brain when this takes place.
I learned that from a Tedx talk about crows. It's really cool. You all should check it out.
Crows: In some mythologies they gave us fire. I'm glad they gave this crow a second chance at life.
a boy in our school had a crow. he brought him every day and the crow perched outside until school was over. i never thought about how loving they are until i saw this video.
I love how they bring her on trips. A true member of their little family
Crows are not silent animals xD
They even eat loudly, thats amusing for some reason to me.
When you are watching the life of a crow, and realize you're caught up watching the life of a Crow.
Just the fact that the cage is a safty space for her, and she enjoys her stay in it! Its heartwearming
Thank you for helping save this precious crow. You're very kind!
I raised two grackles the past summer. They had bird mites when we found them and almost died but we got medicine on them right away and they kept getting stronger. After some time they learned how to fly very well and one of them left. The other one didn’t leave until two weeks later and it was always fun to be casually standing in the backyard and to have a bird fly full speed at you and land on your shoulder demanding food.

No get away, my toy!
*drops it*
Where toy go?!
I’m so glad there are people like you in the world!
You two are beautiful people. Thank you for all you do.
You are a good human being. We need more people like you in the world.
Thanks for watching and for your kind words!
Ah very cute ..and I always thought crows were sinister....but don't judge a book by its cover! I like your crow! :-)
Very true.
Thank you for caring.
thank you for spending all the time and effort to give them another chance.
Good job saving the birds. Man we can be very cruel. The crow is a important species of bird, very intelligent.

That's a lot of dead birds. So sad! Bless you for helping the surviving baby in need.
This is a outstanding video,so well thought out and compelling,Maple is a wonderful bird.

Maple: DAMNIT PIE WHY DID YOU LOOSE IT!!?
Pie: WhAt I Did nOt!
It always impresses me that people are willing to put in the MASSIVE AMOUNT OF TIME AND ENERGY that is needed (feeding every 30min like WHAT! Insane) into an orphaned baby not knowing how it will work. But your reward though is to be blessed with little crow in your life and that incredible bond you have earned. So impressed and inspired by the way u treat your birds as proper pets and not just something in a cage. Taking them on holidays, to the beach, just LOVE ! To have a pet crow come to the beach with me sound like heaven literally! Oh and u should start teaching tricks and doing brain teasers/puzzles with her as they are incredibly smart with the most insane memories and problem solving abilities, which mean they can get bored easily and needs challenges. U guys r too awesome btw 😀
Bless you for your kindness.
Thank you for saving them
Beautiful birds chirping in the morning! Singing lovely songs!
Little Crow: AGAGAGGHUUUHAGAGAGHUAHGAU. UAUAGAUHAGAUAAHG
ever since i read edgar allen poe. i always thought better of crows
You guys are awesome.
People like y'all make the world a better place. ❤
Thank you for saving this little one
Aww it sounded like she was saying "nyam nyam nyam" when she was eating X3
I can’t even let the door open without my dog trying to leave us for good & she has a freakin crow out in the open
God bless you guys. I'm so happy knowing that there are people out there who are kind to the animals like you guys.. ❤❤❤
Thank you for the work you do in rescuing these poor animals! God bless you!
man, I need to befriend some crows, I'm not living up to the username
"little crow you're a girl!"
"such a pretty girl you are!"
So cute!! So glad such kind people are taking care of her!
Thank you so much for being compassionate and saving that baby crow it is so amazing and we need more people like you in the world
Thank you for your great story and being decent folks.
Thanks for saving Maple and Pie they’re great birds 🙂
Imagine being able to tell people that you have a pet crow. Just saying "Yeah I have a pet crow" and they'd probably think you're lying but once you show them you immediately become the coolest person on earth and everyone knows that
***I really needed this today. Your a wonderful family! Thanks so much for saving all these beautiful birds! :)
