Excellent and simple instruction. So simple, a city boy like myself can do it. Thanks for your dedication to this craft. I`ve been watching your teachings since late Feb or early March, and I must say that it has been life changing. God bless you my brother.

Brilliant use of toggle and double-loop slip. Put it muscle memory, already. Can't wait to use it afield. Thanks.

Good set of videos.... Good information for the beginners.... For camp entertainment - either on the trail or car camping - we used setup our stuff in a few minuets then set back and watch the fun as others tried to set up.... It can be real entertaining watching others try to figure out a new tent or tarp they have never even opened before.... Of course we helped them if they asked....
Because of the size of our family we used to car camp a lot. It was a fun way to see the national parks. You would be surprised at how many people would pull in and unload a station wagon full of band new stuff still in the boxes. lol They usually had no idea of where to start.
These are great instructional videos.... My grandkids love to watch them... They have learned a lot from you.

Great video dave thanks for sharing, I saw this in one of your older video's year's ago and I tend to use this method alot when I'm fishing as a shelter for the day or night as it's much lighter to carry along the river bank and is alot cheaper than the fishing bivi's I see my friends use.
it has given me a nick name as the "river bank tramp" by other fishermen passing ,I just smile and say the fish don't seem to care😊 .

What's it like for ticks there? I know in South East Saskatchewan I'd be steady pickin ticks with a grass bed haha, but man that looked great! Thanks Dave for your vids. They are a great 5 minute escape from everyday life, and I always learn a couple tips. Loved that knot for the toggle with the tree setup. Perfect!

How well would the Plow Points configuration hold up in a storm, or is it better to just find another tree and go with the classic A-frame? Thanks from Texas for all the fun videos!

I've noticed using a few more wooden stakes pinning down the other tie out points holds it very well in bad weather. and to add a few guy line's if necessary.

Lived on Sailboats for over 20 years, you have a knot that I've never seen, what is it called, or is there a name for it?
Love to see if you have OTHER knots, as I agree with what you said "I don't like knots that I can't get out of things"!

I'm assuming from this that the wind blows fairly consistently there, here you couls go to sleep and get woke up 2 hours later with the wind blowing into the shelter.
