I am an Arsenal fan and I actively do not like Liverpool. However we have to be fair and honest and use some common sense. At the start of the season no one including Liverpool fans expected to win the league. The fact that they punched above their weight for so long to fall away now should be applauded. To think that Liverpool challenged for a title with a midfield of Jones, Endo and MacAllister is amazing. I saw this coming as Arsenal had an identical season last year where just keeping up with the pace was killing us. The legs have gone, mentally they are shot and the toll of the season has left them all ruined.
We can criticise for some things but bottling is not something that can be said. I think Klopp has been awful over the last few weeks in almost everything he has done. For example against Everton Salah and Van Dijk were horrendous, Calvert Lewin battered Van Dijk and it got so bad Van Dijk was looking at the ref and passing him on the other players. Salah hit at least 6 or 7 shots straight at defenders and then hit 4 or 5 others off target and was as bad as I have ever seen him play. Yet Klopp couldnt wait to get on the pitch and scream and shout at Nunez a young player new to league who has been in and out all season.
Also against Everton when chasing a game to stay in the title race Klopp was making like for like changes at the back. Klopp left Gravenberch on the bench to swap Trent for Gomez, Robertson for Tsismikas and Quansah for Konate. Today he is throwing his arms about and screaming with a player who has downed tools months ago.
Mo defending Salah is embarrassing Salah is already on generational wealth. Salah never declined anything he was clearly up for leaving and has only stayed as he was under contract and will be leaving for that money this summer. Salah downed tools since January we have seen it and I dont care what the stats say about his past we all know he has given up. You can not go from one of the best in the world to worse than Gakpo.
