Why didn't they give Nemesis auto follow-up? With Ashnard's refine and now Nemesis's, I feel like IS just doesn't want to give auto follow-up to GHB units. You're forced to run Quick Reposte seal on them.
I mean, Ashnard has more synergistic options than Quick Riposte. In the newest banner, Super Micaiah presents the desirable evolution of the Rein skills, with auto-follow-up included that would make him double down as the master of the reins. Now he only has to wait for the physical part of the skill.
@Alector12 True, I just said Ashnard because he was another one I expected to get auto follow-up but didn't.
I wouldn't underestimate Ike's refine. He can still work, but needs help. Now with Summer Selena, I refined her instantly. The amount of stuff she got was insane.
Yes it can work definitely, but doesn't address any of his key weaknesses
I'll watch the video later but for now I think that Fike got a nice refine...if it was like 6 months ago
Anyway he got a lot of nice effects but none of them really fixes his issues, they did the same mistake with baby Ike forcing him in a 4 cooldown special
I have a few ideas in mind for his builds but I don't think he'll return relevant until we get spd/def unity, a speed version of laguz friend or a better C skill that help tanking
I think it would be so much better if he got nfu instead of dr piercing and the special jump of 2 if he has an offensive special and 1 if it's defensive

Completely agree. I'm still not a fan of NFU, but it definitely would have been better than piercing
Well, I'm a bit underwhelmed by Ike but on the bright side in the future, when we get a competitor B slot to LF4, it might give him new life. 🫤
But they've really been lowballing refines this year. Last year, we got Gerik & LChrom who jumped to meta/ relevancy with a refine. This year, with many highly anticipated refines like FIke, FLyon, LMByleth, LSigurd, they've been clearly undertuning them. IS is fully in the "sell new units, ONLY" era, which sucks. I'm no longer excited for Ashera & LClaude, two +10s I've had benched for a while, after seeing these last few months of refines... I'd rather they get skipped until IS feels like making actual *good and exciting* batches again 😓

I´m pretty happy with S!Selena´s refine, her support is good for limited heroe battles which I apprieciate
I am sad that Nemesis did not get Distant Counter.
I haven’t played FEH in months but is it normal for units to get crazy support effects for refine? Selena and Anna look kinda nutty

Ike really needed NCD 4 or NFU to contest most of the meta nukes. Running Laguz Friend 4 isn’t as viable now if he can’t counter half the roster.
I.S once again lowballing their distant counter weapon units. It’s a shame, because Fallen Ike was my first +10.
I personally am really underwhelmed by Julien, I would put him into C tier.
While Ikes refine is pretty antisynergistic with Laguz Friend I still think it's pretty good, on par with Anna I'd say.
The winner of the batch is summer Selena for me.
How do I build ike?
Vital Astra + Atk/Spd Finish (or Atk Spd Unity for more stat stacking) + Spurn 4 (if you have been investing in him, if not Null counter 4 or Guard 4) + Spd Smoke 4 (dodge effect can be outsourced with Anna Refine or A!Peonny dance) or Fatal Smoke 4 or Time Pulse 4. If you use him with his pref skill then Gambit 4 is a choice for B slot and a Pledge skill for C slot.

Mayhem aether (emblem ike ring)
Atk/Spd unity
Close call 4
Spd smoke 4
Darting breath.
I advice getting him a pledge skill so u dont have to run darting breath and stack more speed with a sacred seal

nemesis gets 75% dr for a simple condition and its a fun refrence to his boss fight (beat the elites then you can hurt him fully). if the condition were 50% or more hp for allies over 75% hp then that would be good
but the meta is very unforgiving that percent dr is meh this couldve been a to s tier.

They can't give him slaying and anti-guard because it would make his starting A skill useless
Glad Nemesis is pretty okay. Not all that useful where it counts, but it’s not like I play the meta.
I feel like ike kinda has to go gambit/ncd4... Lotta true damage, dr to stack

theres so much dr piercing that makes it bad by comparrison and if the healthy allies was 50% that would be better.
the solution right now is true dr which he can use well (laguz friend). but i feel there will be a skill or visible buff that " reduce non special dr piercing by 50% or something.
Ike's DR should be flat 20% based on his SPD instead. It's...all over the place tbh.

I don’t get why IS is giving emblem Ike a huge buff with breath of life 4 and simultaneously creating such an lacklustre refine for fike lol
F!Ike has been around for long enough that anyone who wanted to +10 him has probably already done so.
E!Ike is NEW AND mega powerful so while people still likely haven't +10'd him, everyone WANTS both him and the skill required to take away his only weakness.
They basically know where the money is and are putting most of the incentives towards pulling on that unit.
The answer is always money
