It's so painful to see someone whom you love the most degrading and dying infront of your own eyes, hence I can understand the joy when someone survives..may god bless you 🙏 thanks for this interview..

One thing is for sure, Samdish is the catalyst for these interviews, without a person like him the whole interview could have been a normal flat interview. Most of the interviews we see with directors or stars is when they need to promote their movie. But here Samdish is genuinely having a conversation with the guest.
    Amazing Interview !

    To Samdish,
Only if the country had more journalists like you, so free, so open, so natural, so one-to-one in a sense, this polarisation that all of us are bothered by, would be so much more observable and people would recognise the fact that this is not right. Keep up the good work. Keep sharing your opinions. May we all become more inclusive, more tolerant and more open to perspectives.

I think part of the directness and humility comes from that struggle and facing death and near-bankruptcy at the same time, for months. The eagerness to just Know in his eyes about the person he's talking to is what makes these conversations so rich and unfiltered. Even the questions which can bother someone doesn't do so as the intent with which they are asked don't have malace in them.

I knew his father Subrato in Bhilai. A lover of theatre. Anurag was a child sitting with his father on a cycle rod. Shyam Benegal did a documentary on Bhilai Steel plant. Maybe that’s how they met.

I feel so sad that Basu da was in Bhopal, I was there climbing down the stairs of a restaurant, and he was climbing up.
I just gave him a nod with a smile and he reciprocated, and I could not recognise that.
3 days later, I read in newspapers that Basu da was in Bhopal for shooting Ludo.
I hate this moment of my life.

Interviewers and Journalists around the world should use Unfiltered by Samdish series as a Text book. The guy actually wants to listen to what the guest is saying. He is not putting words in others' mouth. Not running a propaganda... So candid, detailed, emotional, funny..... because its genuine.... Unfiltered. Really appreciate the efforts. Going on to patreon right now. Anurag sir ke to bohot fans hai, par yeh interview dekhne ke baad, yeh director.... Bohoton ke Hero ban jaayenge. Lot for respect sir. God bless you and your family with good health and help you find your voice. :)
