    I absolutely love this song. I fell in love with the band just about 4 months ago. When I heard my son listening to He Is. And I had to know who he was listening to. Then luckily I got to see them in Massachusetts February 11th. How lucky was I to just get introduced to the band and then get to see them. I love his voice in every single song. But the music in this song the beat the drums the guitars his voice. Everything about this song is badass. I love the heaviness and this one. But then I love that I can go from this to call me little sunshine.. to a metal song but not too heavy. Which I love. And then I can go hardcore heavy metal with twenties. I am so very addicted to ghost now. Thank you so very much for the talent I love the ghouls and goulette. And very much enjoyed how they were playing around with each other at the concert.. they was just as much fun to watch as Tobias was in all his characters. In fact I really really enjoyed the ghouls.

    Então um show de rap brasileiro cantado em favela pareceu TÃO agressivo pro Tobias Forge, um cara que cresceu escutando death metal, que fez ele querer escrever uma música com ritmo de reggaeton, com instrumentos de orquestra?

    Am I the only one getting a Hitler/Trump comparison from this? The big "savior" of the 20's (1920 and 2020). The grabbing by the hoohah, lyrics about the Reich etc. I'm a fan since Infestissumam and always liked the outside thing with satanism so I'm a bit disapointed if I'm right about this. The Hitler/Trump thing just feels outdated since even before it started. I mean Trump is gone and you have Papa Nihil in charge over there, one sax solo away from the grave.

    • @carnelandia
      @carnelandia Před 2 lety

      If this is Hitler/Trump comparison then It is a piece of propaganda. Regardless of the musical quality. I would have thought Tobias is more sophisticated than that, and was singing about the twenties and the effects of historical forces like socialistic ideologies mixed with advocates of eugenics, groups like the Fabian Society whose “social scientists” are constantly at work to mold society into a new mechanized order run by a elite. Cool
      song though.

    • @kevinobrien1026
      @kevinobrien1026 Před 2 lety +3

      It's definitely a reference to the Nazi party in the 1920's and Trump/MAGA crowd of the 2020's. The song is a satirical party song - it's very much tongue and cheek. The following track, Griftwood, is inspired by Mike Pence - as someone Forge sees as overly self-righteous and holier-than-thou. There's no doubt that there is political commentary on this album, though the focus is more so the cyclical nature of history (history repeats itself - empires rise and fall). As always, Ghost still puts entertainment before deep political messages.
      All in all, both tracks seem to be pretty mild in their meaningful commentary, so I'd at least hope that issues with one or a couple songs doesn't ruin your taste for Ghost - I don't think they're ever going to be a -deeply- political act.
