Very interesting video. When you said about allies I thought maybe Talavera, but I guess that might cost more than £200!! Lol.

Great stuff. I’m just starting a French force using Wargames Foundry figs, and found this fascinating to see the other manufacturers out there.

Foundry are absolutely great minis! They are tge OG top quality Naps imo and paint absolutely beautifully! They're a little small compared to other manufacturers, but they are lovely!

Absolutely love these videos! Am working on my peninsular war french currently, and the british aren't too far behind. Always look forward to the unusual extras you pick out with these vids, like the staff team and the portugese signal stand thing previously. Keep up the good work!

I work my french battalions on 36 for line and light and 40 for guards , then 24 for such things as allies and smaller units like marines simply because I like to see bigger battalions especially with the french in block order I just think it looks more awesome a challenge . Excellent videos please keep it up

I am in the middle of painting up my Peninsula Brits and French now. I also just ordered the Epic waterloo French Napoleonics... I will order the Epic waterloo Brits next month. I am also looking for metal lances for my Polish Lancers in 28mm as the plastic lances on the warlord Pols break if you breathe on them...

Excellent. I've been thinking about getting some french to get some change from all the redcoats, and been vascilating between 1811-1812 to match my british or something earlier (tentatively 1806, because they look incredible when you describe them). Unless you manage to release "Start collecting Early French" before I get going, I think I have my choice made for me now...

Great video as always. If you're doing a getting started video in the run up to crimbo could you include a bit on bases/units and maximising efficiency to cover couple of rule sets i.e. Black Powder and Sharpe Practice etc.

Okay, but you have 16 dismounted dragoons now. What did you do with those? Are they a small unit? Did you make a medium unit by sticking some horse-holders in the back? Are they just decoration on the command bases?
