  • Tarke wale dahi Baray | Besan Dahi Bhalla recipe by Eman Foods
    Ingredients:
    Prepare Baisan ka Baray:
    -Baisan (Gram flour) sifted 2 Cups
    -Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp
    -Baking soda ½ tsp
    -Himalayan pink salt ¼ tsp or to taste
    -Cooking oil 1 tbs
    -Water 1 Cup
    -Cooking oil for frying
    -Water as required
    Prepare Podina Dahi:
    -Hari mirch (Green chillies) 2-3
    -Lehsan (Garlic) cloves 4-5
    -Adrak (Ginger) 1/2 inch piece
    -Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1/2 tsp
    -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) 1/4 Cup
    -Podina (Mint leaves) 1/2 Cup
    -Dahi (Yogurt) 1/4 cu0
    -Dahi (Yogurt) 500g
    - Salt 1/2 tsp or to taste
    -Chaat masala 1/2 tsp
    Prepare Tadka:
    -Cooking oil 2-3 tbs
    -Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1/2 tsp
    -Sabut lal mirch (Button red chillies) 3-4
    -Phodina (mint leaves) 5-6
    Assembling:
    -Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed
    -Chaat masala
    -Papri
    Directions:
    Prepare Baisan ka Baray:
    -In a bowl,add gram flour,cumin seeds,baking soda,salt,cooking oil,water & whisk well for 4-5 minutes,& let it rest for 10 minutes.
    -In a frying pan,heat cooking oil,pour the batter with the help of spoon & fry on medium flame until golden.
    -In a bowl,add water,fried baray & let them soak for 10 minutes then take out from water and squeeze gently to remove excess water.
    Storage:
    -Fried baray can be stored for up to 1 month in freezer.
    To use Frozen Baray:
    -Soak them in hot water until thawed.
    Prepare Podina Dahi:
    -In a masala jar add green chillies,garlic,ginger,cumin seeds,,fresh coriander,mint leaves & grind well to make a paste.
    -In a bowl,add yogurt,prepared paste,salt,chaat masala,whisk well & set aside.
    Prepare Tadka:
    -In a small frying pan,add cooking oil,cumin seeds,button red chillies,mint leaves & mix well.
    Assembling:
    -In a serving dish,add soaked baray,prepared podina dahi,prepared tadka,red chilli crushed,chaat masala,papri & serve!
    All the recipes and dishes I have made are referenced and learned on the internet, youtube, google... I'm not the first to make them, not the first to create a certain dish. . I just change the ingredients to make the dish suit my taste. And I just hope my video has an easy way to communicate so that you can successfully make the dishes that you like.
