I love how Huberman doesn’t let Bert interrupt and just talks louder when he tries 😂
I noticed that too and I was so fucking happy at how he handled Bert 😂
Too bad he’s almost equally annoying

So glad that Cory was given this platform and exposure. Hopefully, he'll be able to speak the next time.
Almost like when Tim is on with only Brent and he doesn’t speak for 2 hours lol
This felt like they booked Huberman and Bert asked Cory to come on as a way to deflect from speaking about his health when it gets serious
Cory is great but this was wrong episode to bring the dude on. Its hard to get a word in against Bert, let alone a guy like Huberman who is an amazing guest and who both Tom and Bert want to ask a million questions to...
Getting a word in with Brent in the same room?
Bring him back with a keyboard or organ, with his band even.
I love how Segura is lowkey embarrassed by Bert infront of Huberman
Bert is his best friend and Anthony is more than aware of that. Tom has never felt embarrassed to have Bert around. Everyone knows what it entails. It's just that you people on the internet seem to make it a bigger deal than it truly is.
@@dejay20001agreed it’s just a true best friend relationship 🤣
@dimitri2895 hahaha fr dude. I love watching Tom laugh at the annoying shit Bert does/says. That shit really cracks me up, and I bet the majority of people just get annoyed by it lol
Isn’t Andrew and Tom cousins
lmfaooo
Most impressive Andrew feat isn't his intelligence, or his resume, it's being able to talk over and command the conversation over even Bert
Thanks for listening Cory 😂

I can't wait for the Tom and Cory part of this podcast to come out!
i had to read this a bunch of times before the penny dropped hahahah

Bert seems like he woulda been the kid who got his own presents at someone else’s birthday party .

Na, he would go to the birthday and open the other kids presents lol 😂

So nice of Tom to give Bert another intervention therapy session
I actually feel bad that they had Cory on. It would’ve been much more fun to listen to Huberman pick Cory’s brain than Bert’s shrunk up smooth one.
I feel like Bert was the only one actively trying to include Cory. Cory Kelly getting cut if by Huberman and even Tom. Cory should get a one on one and with Bert because Bert clearly respects him enough to be the only one to ask his opinion. FYI this comment is half way through the episode

So, I learned this week... that I might be a huge Cory Henry fan. Because the guy that sits in the corner for 2 hours and doesn't speak until spoken to... that is the guy that has the most to say, just usually in the fewest words. These are the men that taught me the most.
Going to look you up now brother...
I also really appreciated the totally different 2 bears.
I like to call his music breakdown, cause he is the type of musician that would do a let's say jazz standard you've heard a thousand times, but when listening to it it's like he's taking each component of the structure and expanding on it to it's absolute fullest potential.
I think it was Giant Steps I heard him do live, which is arguably the most complicated song ever and he plays it in a way that even the most tone-deaf person would understand.
Long story short - he is a genius.
Check out his work with snarky puppy. You’ll have your mind blown.
that's me to a T .. dont talk much but when i do speak it holds weight
@@theuniversejr🤡🤡🤡
He got too high and got quiet. Paul Bert doesn't know quiet
Nothing like having 2 fascinating guests, and Brunt is just sitting waiting to interrupt as often as possible to remind us that everything is all about him...
A massive wasted opportunity unfortunately
Did you watch the same episode as I did? It seemed to me like Andrew was making this a lot like a Huberman Lab episode, which has never really been this podcast’s vibe. It felt like Bert was trying to find opportunities to bring the vibe back around to the bros hanging out and shooting the breeze kinda vibe
Bert????
The Interrupter
Cory just giggling away high as shit listening to Bert say the most random shit is the hidden gem of this episdoechahaha

So glorious. It made me so happy 😂
Bert pretending to follow along when Andrew speaks is hilarious
I don’t think Bert realizes how many low-key interventions Tom has had for him on the podcast
I work in a recovery center and Bart is saying everything I hear everyday. Denial is real!

They really should have put Bert in the Hannibal mask for this episode 😂😂😂
the smug look on brents face when he was called "robust" priceless

Andrews ability to avoid stupid shit is funnier than 90% of comedians 😂
Cory’s 14 words were very impactful, glad he was on this episode!
Bert: “There’s a sparkle sobriety doesn’t give you sometimes.” Bert is the anti-christ for 12 step sobriety.
He's never been sober long enough to know better
The no step plan.
At least he’s not boring as fuck like that Dr. buzz kill us
Very well said!
@@johncole4882 Exactly. He's also been drinking again....he's sporting the the swollen Chinese eyes look this pod. He's such a f-ing liar.
Anyone else think Brett is 100% still drinking
He looks like a tomato man

Of course he is, it’s the go to line of alcoholics. “I’ve been sober a month.” As he slurs his speech red in the face.
Wow man. Cory really said, "it's an hour a day". For someone so amazing at his instruments this says a lot
Didn’t expect to hear a bunch of healthy mumbo jumbo on two bears. This was 95% Huberman and Brent. Maybe do a separate one with Tom and Corey.
Seriously
Brents intervention is more important. Just skip this ep then, youre not paying for it nor are you entitled to it.
Agreed. Inspirational tim is as boring as watching paint dry
Thank you for your contributions to the discussion in this comment section and the obesity problem in America
Yeah but you probably needed to.
It’s like I’m a fly on the wall for Bert’s intervention 👍🏻
That's what I thought. I'm out.
And he's 100% in denial stage
He denies being an alcoholic as much as he can, but we know. He’s not tricking anyone
Huberman talking about cutting out alcohol is so much better than going to one of those AA meetings. I'd rather listen to the health benefits than listen to everyone's "poor me" stories. You're amazing, Andrew!
The cigarettes and coffee always bother me at those things. That is not sober or healthy.
Legit no one allows that at meetings. Most of the men will call you a pussy for self pitying or whining lol
Huberman got me to cut down on alcohol. I value my brain and I’m not going to willingly poison it. As delicious as those IPA are….

Huberman is like a super human version of Tom
When Burnt can't even get through the intro without interrupting, you know it's gonna be a wild episode.
Just wanted to listen to huberman speak on music lol. We all know working out with music was cheating but he explains how it could've felt like that.

The dynamic between Bart and Huberman is hilarious cause Andrew is all facts and Barts whole thing is, dancing around facts.

These two guests are both brilliant, but i think this should have been split into two episodes, one guest each

As a musician, the start of this podcast [just started] was so darn beautiful! 🥺 Music being more effective than language in the ways that it is, is EXACTLY why I started playing. Well, I enjoy it myself, but. To communicate.
Also a musician and yes - there was even a study I read about at one point that mentioned music as the closest thing we have to telepathy. Which really makes sense when you think about it because everyone speaks and understands music before learning to talk and even animals communicate through music AND respond to music. When I went to uni, we would have a class called "social linguistics" where often enough music would be mentioned as the universal language.
Andrew dose such a good job speaking so young minds understand
"can stevie wonder see?" finally asking the real questions
Did Bert really ask that question? LOL that reminds me of the time George Bush waved at Stevie Wonder 😂
I learnt so much about jazz and Cory. Shame they didn’t cover Brent’s lifestyle.

He just kept taking and talking. Would have to say probably my least favorite episode ever. And the name dropping all the time. Just not enjoyable
Exactly. This episode really gave me some kind of insight into his arrogance. This man might just have taken the crown from Neil deGrasse Tyson when it comes to lack of self-awareness in these realms, unhealthy love of his own voice, and treating most public settings as a fucking classroom.
the first five minutes is the absolute longest Bort and Tim have ever been silent. lol

I hope Cory goes on a podcast like Rick Beato's so people who really appreciate him can discuss his genius.
Bert simply isn't ready to recognize that alcohol is just a drug like any other. He already invested too many time romanticizing every single aspect of his addiction.
im pretty sure he knows its a drug. But does that make it worse? there are plenty of drugs that save peoples lives
One thing I took away from this conversation was that Andrew isn't willing to accept that other people don't necessarily want to optimize literally every aspect of their lives. Like Bert accepted all of the negative things he had to say about alcohol (which are all true) and then rebutted with basically "Yeah I'm not a moron I get that, and I personally think it's still worth doing".
Which honestly is pretty fair, he is making an informed choice to live in a particular way.
thats also the definition of an addict @@Blarrable
