"Goddamn", now I want to see Matt play through Final Fight Streetwise for whatever reason...again. Especially to remind people why we need a new "proper" Final Fight, hopefully in the same vein as Streets of Rage 4.
I agree with all this, Matt playing Streetwise, FF Remake in the style of SoR4, but I would add a Golden Axe remakeusing the SoR4 engine as well. Or maybe a Final Fight collection with the Arcade, Sega CD, GBA and SNES (I guess) version of FF1, then FF2 and 3, this (FF Revenge), Streetwise and then they could throw an early demo of Final Fight 4. FF Guy could be on there as well. Am I forgetting any other interesting ports? Oh! Mighty Final Fight, and maybe Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight

I would love to see a new attempt at the 3D Final Fight in all honesty. Maybe in the style of a Dream Factory beat em up like Crimson Tear, or maybe like Beat Down or Yakuza (but more linear). But colorful and campy rather than edgy and serious like Streetwise.

Bit late, but if you're into Final Fight you should check out Final Fight 2 Readjusted. It ups the amount of enemies on screen + a bunch of other minor fixes to get FF2 closer to a proper arcade experience rather than being held back by the available SNES hardware at the time.

This game is so goofy. I love how that shotgun spits out three floating hot coals for some reason.
If capcom makes a capcom fighting collection 2 I hope they pot this on the roster because I’ve never played it.
A capcom fighting game collection with all their 3D fighters + rollback would be a 1000% day 1 purchase for me. It's a shame they can't include Spawn:ITDH or HeavyMetal Geomatrix, but I ADORE Rival Schools, Star Gladiator, and Tech Romancer. It's such a tragedy to me that Capcom has all of the fantastic 3D fighter series they just let die because they weren't doing SF or Tekken numbers. Especially since it means Namco has basically 0 competition outside of DOA. And Soul Calibur literally has 0 competition with Star Gladiator and Toshinden both dead (mind you, I love all 3 series, but competition is healthy).
The music for this game sounds like the Original themes in WWE No Mercy. You know, the ones that make you say fuck it and steal Viscera's theme instead.

Same here. You can never have enough TMNT, especially seeing as Mutant Nightmare was the last Konami developed TMNT game until the upcoming Cowabunga Collection later this year.

Final Fight:Revenge is just a very unique fighting game that nobody ever talk about these days. It does look nice. Yeah the ultras are weird and silly,but that’s what I like about Capcom and their weirdness. If Capcom brings some 3D fighting game collection. They should include Final Fight:Revenge.
I know you're not jumping back into this but if someone played Rolento all the way to Berger, you could use Rolento's super to recreate the helicopter scene in Dawn of the Dead

OG Final Fight (arcade) was rad as it could be. One of the references of Metro City, and dope Ost.
Be warned if you didn't know already this game is stupidly expensive.

Why he's called Andore in FF and Hugo in SF, I still haven't a clue.

I think because Andore is a well known name in the Final Fight universe. On Street Fighter, however, they just use the first name of the character that is Hugo because the Andore family is not relevant at all on the SF lore.
If we get a 3D Capcom Fighting Collection this one NEEDS to be included.
That one Haggar super where he piledrives around the earth was geniuenly mindblowing, this game has some fun supers.

@@JohnDoe-wq5eu Not sure honestly. All I know is that homebrew Saturn Games are almost non existent. Just making a translation is hard. It has something to do with the Saturns hardware making 3D hard to program.

i assume they changed Andore name to Hugo starting with SF3 for the same reason as the Bison/Vega/Balrog switcheroo. They might have wondered if André the Giant's estate wouldn't sue them at some point, so they changed the name to be on the safe side.
Final Fight Revenge is the best Final Fight game by far. It's my favourite of a great series and can't believe people don't like it. Look at how Andore's hand grows massive when he does a combo. You don't see that in any other beat em up.
Hi Matt there's a Mugen I'd love to see you do called Famicom Fighter, it's a beautiful 8 bit lovingly made fighter with mario, Ryu, samus and Megaman but also obscure characters like kickmasters plus awesome stages and story mode and so many summons. Plus amazing custom boping music

Not a fighting game, but it is a janky 1vs1 spy vs spy PS1 game that is addictive and never gotten a sequel, spiritual successor, or any other game like it. I think, the visual effects guy (not sure which team member) was interview and said he wanted to make a PS3 version with online matches, but it never happened.

@@flophouseplays Yeah, when I tried to go back to that TMNT video, CZcams said you set the video to Private. That's too bad, I would've liked to see the whole thing seeing as I just recently got myself a Gamecube copy of Mutant Nightmare that's in really good condition.
One other thing to note about that game, apparently you can unlock the Arcade version of Turtles in Time by completing all the missions in chapter 1 of the game. Unfortunately, it replaced all the music and voices with the ones from the 2003 TMNT series I believe despite the fact that Turtles in Time was also made by Konami, lol XD.

On a + note, Matt. Maybe Final Fight will be redeemed with SF6 (better music) + everything else. Especially the open world being set in Metro City.
But thinking back, Cody, Guy, and Rolento, Sodom, were in the Alpha series. Hugo in SF 3, Poison + everyone in 4 & 5.

Two new characters. In FF2 it's the leader of the Japanese branch of Mad Gear named Retu. In FF3, it's the boss of a new gang, the Skull Cross, who's name is "Black."
Who makes a Saturn game in the year 2000? Who even had a Saturn at that point? Why didn't this game get a Playstation or Dreamcast version, this game's existence is weird!
it's because the arcade version of this game was running on Sega's ST-V arcade board and the hardware for that was essentially identical to the Sega Saturn so it was an easy port
