Wow I never would have thought of some of these combos! Just gotta say I’m not a naturally fashion savvy person, and your channel has helped me so much! Especially with finding my color season, kibbe body type, and style roots I feel so much more assured picking pieces that I know work for me. It’s made getting dressed in the morning easier and I feel confident abt how I look. It’s also helped me purchase less to more affect bc I don’t end up buying things that I’d never wear. Keep up the good work!
This is so lovely to hear, I love to hear that I’ve helped someone buy things they really love as that’s one of the main takeaways I want my viewers to have so that’s brilliant ☺️☺️☺️
I think im a soft classic and hate how boring everything seems to be on me so this was a great primer in how to have fun while keeping details and lines simple and flattering :)
Can you do an example of a light olive skin tone with dark winter colouring? I’m having some trouble with my colour’s, I think because of my Olive undertone :(
Try a monochromatic look with a super long jacket or overknee boots! It's easy to break vertical with mini skirts. Your shoes should match the skirt and the top.
You can also use it as an underskirt for another skirt or dress! One of my daughters does this all the time (even throwing three skirts one over the other and it gets this really cool vibe. It actually reminds me a bit of your Madonna approach.
I wear tulle skirts in an obvious combo with waist cropped ballet wrap tops. It looks so beautiful and classic. I love that skirt but it needs a small delicate top to be cohesive in my opinion because of all the volume.
My favorite is the last one only I don't have the body type at 59 years old wear that kind of stuff anymore but boy if I would have thought of that stuff when I was younger love your Channel
I used to have a tulle skirt 10-15 years ago and I think I wore it in all these kinds of ways! I especially liked to wear it with a black lace top, a bit like your Madonna inspired outfit.
Yeah I really didn’t - although I’m not going to buy a whole new outfit to go with a crap skirt, so in a way I suppose I did make outfits with things I could find from my wardrobe if that’s what you mean??
Unfortunately I found this one in a charity shop and it didn’t have a brand in it, but there are quite a few floating about the internet, just search “grey blue tulle skirt” and this exact one comes up on lots of sites!
i have this thick pink fuzzy skirt with little glittery bits that i love, but i have no idea how to style it. the waist is too bulky so it looks awkward.
It's been years haven't seen people with this much fabric on the internet 😭 they always do some wierd shit like only hanging 3 piece of fabric on the front 😂
Question: for style roots, does color impact the category? I have tops with ribbon/ ruffle/ button/ lace details (which I think would be flower) but in blacks, dark blues etc. Would the darkness bump them into another root? Or the details keep them in flower? 🧐
the madonna approach was everything 👏😍
That second outfit was just wow
Thank you so much!!! Really appreciate this ☺️☺️
3 is so Carrie Bradshaw I love it
Me too! So Carrie - she’s such an icon!
Had exactly the same thought 😄 love it 💖
I came here to say the same thing. Carrie's white long skirt with a simple t shirt.
Yesss the NYC fashionista street style look she was talking about is definitely Carrie Bradshaw
Totally agree!
That'd be a pretty ethereal look with a fluttery wrap top or cardigan with a romantic tank top. If it was asymmetrical I'd definitely buy it.
Tulle skirts are my go to bottom at this point, and living my wildest ethereal forest fairy dreams is so fun :)
I like leaning into the street style. I have a few long tull skirts and I love pairing them with my flannels.
#4 is my fave 💕
I feel like Kate Hudson could have worn it in the early 2000s.
This skirt and those outfits were me in high school, especially the Madonna look
I've been wanting a tulle skirt for sooo long. Now I want one even more

3rd styling is my fave.
Tulle skirts are one of my most worn wardrobe basics. 🙌
My favourite was outfit number 4! 💯👍🙌 However, where is outfit number 1 shoes from, please?? X x
Love those shoes...don't think we're gonna find out from where tho.
I think im a soft classic and hate how boring everything seems to be on me so this was a great primer in how to have fun while keeping details and lines simple and flattering :)
I think this looks so cute just with the corset! I’d call the “The Stevie Nicks”, very 1981 Belldonna era
I think the last one suits her the most. I think it's the blue.

I would like a video about dramatics and mini skirts. Like "How dramatics should wear mini skirts" not to look like overgrown teenagers.
Co-signing this as a FN!!

#3 is literally early Carrie Bradshaw, you rocked it. Also #4 looks amazing on you
I think, it would be a good choice to style it with bold colors, such as fuchsia
Really fun idea!
I think it would be a really good monochromatic look with a matching grey cashmere sweater.
Omg 2 is fantastic but 3 is SO good 🖤🩶💖
The tulle with the Jean top and boots!!! I love it 🥰
Love the leather jacket look and the pineapple shirt combo!!

Holy SH!T I love that skirt!
I think a plain bodysuit with classic pumps would work well with that skirt.
The fourth is the best!
Would totally wear to work with a blazer
I LOVE the skirt
Love a good tulle skirt.
i love 3
4 feels so Hannah Montana/wealthy farm girl
Omg you’re so right it’s so Hannah Montana
Love the 2nd look
the last one was giving country girl
I adore outfit no. 3 💓
The 2nd outfit was on point 💯
You are so great at this!! 😦✨
Number 4 making me think of country Taylor Swift 😄
#4 was 💣
I used to have a tulle skirt 10-15 years ago and I think I wore it in all these kinds of ways! I especially liked to wear it with a black lace top, a bit like your Madonna inspired outfit.
I have the exact same skirt but in white. Everytime I wear it people ask me if Iam getting married that day🤣🤣🤦🏽♀️
now i want this skirt
I love your shorts! These are great outfits
I love the fourth look on you
Last one❤❤
The Madonna one was giving avril Lavigne!!
I have an identical one! But I hate how poofy it is around my hips. Do you have any tips to make it work on a romantic body type?
I like the styling on all of these but just wish the thing was 4 inches shorter.
Love all styles 😍
I have this exact skirt in pink and I've never worn it because I never knew how to 😭
The last two!!
I Like 2-4, Go for IT.
So helpful❤ I have one in black, it goes to the knees☺
Looking beautiful
Love the Madonna and first street style approaches.
It's giving Caroline Forbes for me
to me it just looks like you wore whatever you could find
Yeah I really didn’t - although I’m not going to buy a whole new outfit to go with a crap skirt, so in a way I suppose I did make outfits with things I could find from my wardrobe if that’s what you mean??
@Ellie-Jean Royden | Body & Style I loved outfit 3,the streetstlye... those shoe! Whee didya get those?
the 4th is giving lorelei gilmore
Second and third for me
Second one needs a belt. If I ever have a top that goes under a skirt I belt it. It helps transition the piece
This skirt is gorgeous! Now I really want it. Where’d you buy it? 😊
Unfortunately I found this one in a charity shop and it didn’t have a brand in it, but there are quite a few floating about the internet, just search “grey blue tulle skirt” and this exact one comes up on lots of sites!
Looks 2 and 4 🥵🔥🔥🔥

FG here not sure if tulle follows FG lines but I have 2 and I wear them alllll the time
“That Girl”, yes, I know what she means!

Thank you very much for not wearing it as a strapless dress. Every other influencer does that.
One answer: fairy cosplay
Have you ever considered that you might actually be a theatrical romantic? Like Rachel McAdams & Jada Pinkett?
Two and the last one are the winners. But I’d add the silver purse with look number two.
your choice in bags ruined the looks I feel like the last one was the best and didn’t drag you down 👍🏻
By the way...where are the shoes from no.1 from? 🤩
They’re a brand called day vine! I found them in TK maxx
@@elliejeanroyden thanks 🤗
If only was one 🤦🏻♀️
Tutu nye.
Thanks I hate it 😂
Eh that waistband needs covered.
All killer ….but #2 transformed you ❤
I’m sorry sis I don’t think it’s giving
Nope
