A bad boss can ruin a good job but there are plenty of jobs in the world that are shit regardless of the bosses attitude. My boss could give me a blow job every morning and my job would still be pretty unpleasant a lot of the time.
I'm a welder in the field of marine maintenance. I service a wide variety of boats in the small boat fishing fleet in a small town in Alaska. I make metal fabrications and do a fair bit of mechanical work and some simple electrical work, whatever people need. I don't hate my job by any means. One good thing about it is that I do a lot of different things, so I learn a lot and don't get too burned out with any one task. Nonetheless, I do often find myself doing some fairly unpleasant tasks in the crusty bowels of some 100 year old troller. Anyways, my comment was just meant to point out that a person's relationship with their boss is not the only factor that affects their job satisfaction. A bad boss can definitely ruin an otherwise good job, though. I've experienced that as well.
It happened to me too. I went from a shitty motel where I was nearly graped my first night alone to working for an airline ground handling company and I'll be there 5 years at the end of this month. It does happen 🤍
@j3lly952 My point exactly. Boots are made for feet. Not for eating. You wouldn't know that if you didn't go to kindergarten. Now we know for certain you're not a US citizen since you'd know that. Let me guess, you live in Africa or the middle east. Figured as much.
I’ve made candy before, and that stuff is super scary. It’s basically napalm. Think about how hard it is to scrape maple syrup or honey off of your hand and get all of it off. Now imagine that it’s above the boiling point of water. A small touch is like holding your hand in boiling water for several seconds.
This is so wholesome He doesn't get mad at the guy when he does something wrong, but offers constructive criticism and pointers I wish all bosses were like him
I thought the pros was warmer when he was flipping cause it was moving more, but than I saw him flip the second one and it he just had that wrist strength
I love seeing people learn new things I feel like there is such a stigma against being a beginner, and I get some of it. It’s hard to deal with a newbie, a lot more energy to get them up to speed, sometimes more work for yourself. But when you get to see people grow and how excited they get as they get better and better at what they do ❤ and to know you were a part of that process just feels so special We all were beginners once. A little patience and grace goes a long way to building someone up
if every boss was as cool as this one people would actually love their jobs
Hang in there, Rodrick. 🙏🏽

Awwwww! Is someone frustrated that they get treated like shit at their job? You poor thing!
They even let his candy cool longer before the flip to encourage him. That is some next level affection
I noticed that,It dosent run out as fast after his flips
Sweets, not candy
Don't be that person, dude. People call it different things in different countries.@@EragonAsharladon
@@EragonAsharladon You can call it sweets and I'll stick with candy 👍

Hi Milad!
How do you only have 2 comments?
When I was watching this I was like- Isnt that Milad??
Hi
Ur awesome dude
The amount of people surprised at how supportive the staff are shows how fucked this world's working life is.
The sheer pride in their voice when he gets it right is heartwarming!
I love that he said beautiful job to him! A lot of pros can’t recognize when a beginner is doing well since they are so good at their craft love this
Ive seen alot of candy makers on youtube but your shop is the best! ❤ 🍬 🍫 🍭 🍬 😊
You meant lofty pursuits is the best
my brain: "touch it with bare hands"
me: "but it's hot!"
my brain: "TOUCH IT!"
I went to a candy factory or whatever this is and my class got a tour and when we all did a candy flip this was my exact thought

The kid is a natural. Good man, it’s great seeing young kids take initiative and work. Plus he seems like he is pretty good already.

When the candy went "plop" during the flipping, I felt that. It changed my life.
Aww, that's so sweet ❤️... Also, the pros always make things look so easy
I love seeing people learn new things

The way they cheered him on at the end was so wholesome
The employees are just as sweet as their candy
The litle "flop" sound it made when the "beginner" (as I don't know their name) flipped the candy is literally therapy to me
