Peter lives in Phoenix. Bobby is in Massachusetts. Marwan lives in Egypt and Tomi is in the Czech Republic. They've sung together - virtually - for several years. Three (Peter, Bobby, and Tomi) finally met in person for the first time in the summer of 2023 when they filmed "May The Bass Be With You vol 3" (including the CARA award winning "Friend Like Me").
The Bass Gang is not purely accapella. They sometimes do instruments in the background as they try to bridge the accapella way of singing with instruments. Sometimes they uses synths and sound effects like the gun shot sound used here but its good that they didn't overused these instruments and only used them if necessary for their composed piece; they are really good in decision making if certain instruments will be used which further enhances their output.
