  • This is Indigo. He has been in training for little under two weeks. He was a "third strike, you're out" mustang stallion at the BLM who was picked up by a rescue who brought him to us. Mustangs like Indigo can be adopted multiple times, and they can prove to be harder to handle than anticipated. People can have a romantic idea about owning a pretty mustang like Indigo, but then find themselves in over their heads and have no choice but to return then to the holding pens. Other times, TIP trainers will return the mustang when they do not get the results they want. Bad results or no progress mostly happens when a mustang is handled incorrectly. Please... Take the much needed time to fully understand everything involved with training a completely wild mustang before jumping right into what you may not be ready for, whether you are training or adopting.

Bless you and your family. It's a shame that just anybody can adopt them. People should have more horse riding and training experience.

How did you get an actual stallion? I thought they gilded everything. That’s exactly what we are looking for third strike or no.

This is an excellent series. Well done and informative.
Too bad you don't have more views and subs than you do.
I guess it's because you're not a teenager, blonde and don't have boobs....
