I loved this show when it aired, and I've been binge watching it... over and over again the last few months
I rewatch this show annually. It will forever be funny
The first episode alone is so insanely good. One of the only shows that hit the nail right from the start.
Not only do I love that you used some of Tandy's jokes for your video, I love that you wrote your own version of the "Closure" song at the end. That was pure genius. Somebody better send the song to Will Forte.
I love this show and I still do. The only other person than my dad that I know who would watch this was one of my high school teachers. We would talk about the show in class saying how we're excited for the next episode. He would do his own "Boom" jokes like Tandy.
I personally love this show because: 1. it's hilariously underrated, and 2. I have met Will Forte (Phil miller) in real life and he was a super nice guy

i started watching this show in 2016 and stopped during the break between seasons 2 and 3. i literally got back into it 2 weeks ago after i saw will forte on how i met your mother and decided to start watching again. i finished the last episode an hour ago and im heart broken... its such a huge cliff hanger. I fucking love this show. i really hope it will get picked up for a final season like what happened to arrested development
I hope if it does get picked up again, that it's much better than arrested developments revival. They never really recaptured the magic of the first 3 seasons of that show.
I actually think that this show did do a good job teaching us what to do in a post-apocalyptic world. I learned a lot of stuff from this show. For example, Phil Miller 2.0 taught us how gasoline will eventually expire and get all chunky like milk. And since there would be no running water, we can't use any toilets. And soon not only would satellites would start falling out of the sky and bridges start falling apart, but nuclear plants melting down and everyone will have to leave the country.
For me Phil 2.0 is like Frank Grimes - what it would be like if a normal competent person was in this crazy incompetent world. His flaw is that he’s unflawed in a hilariously flawed group

I discovered the show in September 2019. I was going to watch Last Man Standing, but as soon as I typed "Last Man..." I saw the show and decided to watch it.
I binge watched all four seasons in one week.
I was a Junior in college when I discovered the show.

Discovered this show at the beginning of this year and i couldn't stop watching, I got obsessed. After finishing it I started watching it again, because I got my dad to watch it so we watched it together. Amazing show, so funny. I hope with the succes it's gaining or have gotten now. They will pick it up again, I don't care about an ending the ending can be the weirdest or worst ending ever Idc. I just want more of it. I miss those lovable turds

While Will Forte said he wasn't so sure what they would do with ending the show, he did have a couple of ideas. One was in which the final scene showed Will Forte at FOX explaining the whole series to them and they then ask "But what is the show about?" which leaves Will speechless and the episode ends there. Two, which is Will's favorite, it reveals that the whole show was a dream from Tandy and Carol's pet cat. Carole asks the cat what did he dream of and Tandy replies with "Carol, everyone knows that cats can't talk...... Not without their pet talking collars." Tandy then puts the collar on the cat and the cat would start explain the show to Tandy and Carol as the episode ends. I'm glad they didn't go with either of those endings.
Will Forte also admitted what they would've done for the first three episodes of season 5. It would have the group being put in quarantine by the masked people since even though the group are immune, they would still be carriers to the virus. Amongst the masked people would be at least one famous person. Eventually, the group becomes friends with the masked people and with that, the masked people like them enough to let them out of quarantine. But then its revealed that the group really are carriers of the virus and then all of the mask people die like wild fire. Kristen School actually said on CONAN that should would've liked Beyoncé on the show and give her a really long death scene.
I too agree that Erica and Mike were perfect for each other. While I thought her being with Gail was interesting, I ultimately think Erica and Mike together was great. I really wish that Mike was there when Dawn was born. Mike would've been a great father for Dawn.
Underrated show? More like underrated channel. You deserve more love
I love this show. It's not one I can binge watch. But it's amazing. I'm still pissed at that cliff hanger.
I actually have some ideas of how season 5 could've went. Just a heads up, there's a lot of writing...
For any of the mask people or future guest stars on season 5, celebrities can be Kevin Hart, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Bill Hader, Tina Fey, Kenan Thompson, Eddie Murphy, Kevin James, James Corden, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Emma Watson, Josh Gad, Seth Rogan, Danny McBride, James Franco, Jimmy Fallon, Dana Carvey, Alec Baldwin, David Spade, Maya Rudolph, Tim Meadows, Vanessa Bayer, Melissa Villaseñor, Rob Schneider, Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, Sofia Vegara, Candace Cameron Bure, John Stamos. The group will manage to find that one dog and teach him tricks and give him a name. We could see the group celebrating the birthdays for Dawn and the twins. I think that Tandy and Carol's third kid should be a boy just so we can have at least one baby boy on the show. I don't know what they should name the baby though. And I'm not sure, but maybe we could see Mark (Lewis' lover) finally showing up after sailing all the way from Japan. He came after he found Lewis' note. Todd would show Mark the vacuum he has of Lewis' ashes which would make him upset, but he still appreciates Tandy for encouraging him to fly to Japan to find him. Either Mark will die eventually or he will find another survivor who he'll end up falling in love with. When Erica goes into labor with Toddy's baby, Melissa will be asked to watch the kids. She's unsure if she can handle it at first since she's certain she never wants to have kids, she tries so anyway. While doing so, she sings to them and plays with them for a little bit, making them laugh. This puts a smile on her face in which it will be the start of making her think maybe she is indeed time to have a kid of her own. With this, she will want to be around Erica's baby more often which will make Erica feel awkward around. Erica's baby can be a boy and she will name him after her brother Ethan. Mike eventually returns and says he found Jasper in Cancun since the self driving car Melissa left for him took him there and they forgot to let Jasper know they weren't going there. Jasper will also feel comfortable to finally reveal his real name and he says he misses his dad most of all since he was a cop. Tandy will tell Mike about how he was right about the heat signature on the satellite, but all of those people died, which makes Mike upset that they were right under his feet and now they're gone. When Mike wakes up on the first morning being back, he might discover that Tandy shaved half of his hair as payback, but Mike will chuckle. For a Halloween episode the group could discover a house and Carol thinks it's haunted or maybe they think there's another kill around like Pat. At some point, the group will meet a group of scientists that have still been working on a cure for the virus, or a basic vaccine. Since the group are immune, the scientists think they are the key and so they need samples of the group's blood to see if they can create one, similar to Thomas in Maze Runner: Death Cure. Glenn, Pamela, and Jeremy will return. Only this time, they have Glenn's kids with him. They reveal that when the radiation started to happen in America, the kids crossed the border and made it to just 100 miles away from America since that's enough to be safe. Pamela says she's still new to the whole mom thing, but is enjoying it. Amongst these scientists can be a love interest for Mike so he will finally find happiness and he will become a father eventually. Some point after, the group gets frustrated about something with Tandy and say that he's the worst person on Earth currently. That is when he will say he's not worse than Pat, which will shock Mike because he didn't know they encountered Pat. The group will point out all of the lies that Tandy has told, but Tandy say he didn't lie about stuff that Phil 2.0 did, like lying about not having a middle name when his middle name was Stacy all along. The group then reveal that Phil 2.0 told them about his middle name being Stacy and they just never called him that. Carol even reveals that before she left Tucson with Tandy, she was informed on this too and continued to go with it so they would no who they were referring to. Todd will even bring up again about how Tandy tried to leave him in the desert to die, and Tandy will say he didn't have the heart to do it and he will remind Todd that on that day even though Todd didn't know what Tandy meant at the point, Tandy apologized for what he did. Tandy will say he is better than Phil 2.0 since he was wiling to leave Tandy in the desert to die while Tandy didn't have the hear to do it it to Todd. With the whole group shouting at Tandy, Tandy will then suddenly feel dizzy and collapse to the floor unconscious. The group worry and the scientists do some tests on him. They reveal that Tandy has tested positive wit the virus. Because of the argument with Tandy, they're unsure if they want to let him live. Carol and Mike are against them, along with Glenn, his kids, and Pamela. The rest of the group then tell Carol to name anything good Tandy has ever done for the group other than being a tool. Carol will then say how if he never left those ALIVE IN TUSCON signs, the group would've never met. Todd wouldn't have married Melissa and not be a father now. Erica wouldn't have become a mother either. Carol wouldn't even have her kids. She mentions how Tandy was willing to take the blame for hiding the bacon when Todd really did it and Tandy wanted to make Todd think he didn't kill Pat. Carol then tells Gail how if Tandy didn't turn the power back on at that one building they stayed at, she would've stayed trapped in that elevator. Carol then tells Erica how Tandy helped put back together the crib Phil 2.0 built for Dawn. Carol even points out how Tandy was the one that discovered the radiation starting and made sure everyone got out of the country in time. The group realizes that Tandy did a lot for them and they definitely do need to save him. One of the doctors reveal that have an experimental cure for Tandy and the group agrees to go for it. While the group waits to know if Tandy is going to be okay, we get a brief montage of all the great times they had with him. Todd thinks about how he and Tandy were in the stocks for the bacon, when they hugged when Tandy didn't want him to think he killed Pat, and them doing high fives. Melissa thinks about how she was the first person Tandy shared his sports balls with her that he talked to. Erica will think how Tandy reassembled the baby crib for Dawn. She, Melissa, and Todd can even think about how Tandy wore camouflage to blend in with the Christmas tree which they loved and laughed about. Gail will think about how Tandy saved her from the elevator, when they getting rid of diapers with balloons, and how they were making their voices high on helium. She and Erica will even think about how they were having fun with Tandy by pouring tequila in his mouth. The two and Todd can even think about how Tandy found frozen pizza for the group and they were all singing about it with him. Pamela will think about how she and Tandy sang on the boat. Jasper will think about when he and Tandy slid down the water slide in sleeping bags. Mike will think about how they sang Falling Slowly, Tandy allowing him to shave his head, him dancing while Tandy sang, and when they were playing that sports game in the yard with the mannequins. Carol will think about the times she and Tandy had sex, getting married, having their twins, and even how he surprised her with her dream house. The doctors then come back thinking that Tandy is dead. With this, the group will come to his body and say "Goodbye... Phil". But then they hear the heart monitor starting to work again. Tandy coughs and opens his eyes. They ask if he's feeling better. Tandy then replies with "Feeling better?... Hardly knew her... Boom." This puts a tearful smile on everyone's faces. After some relief, Melissa then reveals to Todd that she is pregnant and she is definite sure she is ready to be a mother. We then cut to years later in which all of the group's kids are a little older. We even see an older version of Jasper. The group watches as the children play. If it's around Christmas time, Todd can be dressed as Santa for the kids. The group could be around a bonfire like they used to and Tandy grabs his guitar and starts singing a new version of "Closure". This time, the whole group joins in singing. Having this song sung would be a metaphor now that the show finally has closure.

I started watching it in 2015 when it was on TV and then got stuck for years cuz of how Phil is - I’m sooooo glad I started watching it again in 2022. (SPOILER HARDLY KNEW HER HAHAHAHAHAH 👏👏)

Gail and Erica being together is okay, but Erica and Mike being together is my favorite ship of the show. I agree that Phil 2.0 wasn't perfect. I do wish Dawn got to meet him, but I'm fine with him not staying on the show. If Mike stayed on the show longer than he did, I wish he were there when Erica gave birth to Dawn. He would have been a great father.

This show was so great I am so sad
Not really sure it's underrated. I could barely make it through the first 5 episodes and it's the most annoying and predictable show.
It's just the same thing over and over again - Phill wakes up tries to get attention on him -> finds out people are doing something not involved with him -> tries to ruin said thing -> people hate him and tell him his annoying (yet again) -> he does something that makes them pitty him and they kind of make up ... until the same thing happens again next time.
Also he is the most hateable character ever on TV, he is the original incel that kind keep his cool for 3 seconds... he's like a 5 year old that was forcibly aged and never went through puberty.. almost every interaction in the show is just infuriating
I didn't like Erica or Melissa or Gaile.
I thought it was released on 2021😂
