    I just want to tell you that I have watched this video a dozen times already and will probably watch it tons more. Thank you for being so in-depth and explaining everything. I originally came across your video because I needed a new planner, but after also binge watching all your other videos, I am here for the long haul. Hopefully this comment doesn’t come off as too weird, haha. I find so much comfort in your content. :) (PS: I am also neurodivergent!)

    i honestly truly love this bc as a neurodivergent person, i need to write memories or in a journal to not forget the whole year lmao and to find a content creator who’s also neurodivergent, loves hobonichi and understands and creates interesting and utilitarian systems for notebooks? omggg i love uuuu. thanks so much for this! i truly enjoy your videos when it comes to planners, journals, notebooks :’)

    I've been using Hobonichi Spring start journals for a couple of years now and they are the perfect fit for me, because I get quite confused/depressed in January and it doesn't feel like the start to a New Year to me because of that. Plus there would be a ton of blank pages if I started in January because I would not feel like working out a system. One of the reasons I love Hobonichi so much is that they do a Spring start. Anyway super long answer, but I tend to go into way too much detail when it comes to stationery!

    This was amazing! I love the hobinichi! I usually use the a5 Cousin, but I have loved watching you use the Avec set! Your books are beautiful!
    It was great seeing you also use it as a common place book ! I think that the integration is perfect!

    Hi! I’ve only found your channel this evening. I saw your “what’s in my bag” video in my feed and i just had a feeling it would be chill so I gave it a watch and it absolutely was so relaxing to listen to after such a crazy day. So I let it auto play to your hobonichi videos and I’ve been binging them for about an hour and planning in my planner while I listen lol.
    ANYWAYS. As for my personal planning system, I’ve just started my vertical happy planner (VERY different to a hobonichi I know) But I actually love it and I’m just happy to be back into the swing of planning again after having a rough year of not keeping track of (or doing) anything ever. Your hobonichi is so beautiful though and it inspires me to plan and journal. So thank your for sharing!

    I love your videos so much! 🤩 I'm currently changing books with the new year to start using a planner I was gifted. The part where you talk about finding a system that works for you versus constantly changing systems really resonated with me. What I've found personally is that there's no perfect system but when I find one that works I try to stick to it as much as I can and the consistency really helps. This could be different for me but I thought I'd share my thougths 💭 Please keep making these videos, they are amazing 💕

    What a great idea to combine your commonplace and daily journalling! I just switched from an A6 Hobonichi to an A5 Cousin Avec for July -December, and I'm really liking it. I miss the A6 size but the A5 means I have a lot more space to write and to make lists which I love to do!

    Looks so lovely!!!
    I changed from a Hobonichi a6 to a Kinbor a6 in July; pretty much the same system but with nicer (imo) paper, no quotes at the bottom and no colors for each month. Works better for me as it looks less chaotic/busy

  • @ashrambling
    @ashrambling Před 2 lety +1

    I actually just decided to give the Avec a try at the start of this month and I really love it. I'm finishing college again so my old bullet journal 'productivity' system doesn't really fit anymore as I go back to being a working adult. I like the daily pages as it gives me structure to write about my day to day goings-on that traditional bullet journaling doesn't always have. I've also been putting fun receipts, stickers, I'd like to start putting pictures in eventually too.

I have the spring start techo a6 because springs when i stop being depressed and January is really hard for me to start anything! Also never thought about using the drop down calendar pages as an index thanks for the idea hope your doing okay as can be xx

    I'm ordering a hobonichi a6 ONE PIECE for my planner next year. First time not using the hobo weeks spring start. I feel like I need more space for planning but love your idea of melding a common place book with a planner. New subbie.

  • @emilyinwhite
    @emilyinwhite Před 2 lety +1

    I used the Avec as a work planner and there was too much wasted space. The second book became an everything book. Appreciate your index idea; that will help me to separate work notes from personal ramblings!

    I'm sorry. I'm not the only one who was hit with how genius making the first few pages an index for the rest of the planner was right? that was genius omfg. people who make the first few pages of their journals an index and hope they don't run out of room would have been floored to hear that omfg.

    I've absolutely loved every single one of your planner videos right back to your a6 small books ❤️ thank you so much for sharing with us.
    I'm planning on using a kinbor a6 non dated next year for my personal planner as I don't get time to journal daily. And then I have an a6 commonplace book that I'll continue next year. I'm then planning on getting the a5 dated version for my work planner. The Kinbors are very similar to the hobonichi products, so I love seeing how other people use their hobonichi's.

  • @panasado7886
    @panasado7886 Před 2 lety

    Your videos inspired me to buy a Hobonichi a few months ago and I've never had this much fun and consistency with other systems before!
    I feel you a lot with the need for it to be pretty and functional, my brain zones out a lot when It's not beautiful and I get obsessed with it (If the color palette doesn't match my style, saturated colors, ugly font, etc.) I get so distracted that I won't read the information, nor really use it. When I explain this to other people, I feel like nobody really understands me lol that I just overcomplicate things or exaggerate, but it's important for me. Do you know if that's related to Autism?
    I'm still looking for the perfect system too! I'll try and see if the commonplace might work for me, thank you for the video!

      I use the HP Tango printer. I have the HP Instant Ink Subscription and it allows for me to print 5x7 photos for free. I don’t care for glossy photos in my journals and planners so I found matte photo paper on Amazon (Pacific Inkjet Premium Matte Inkjet Photo Paper) and I use a app in my phone to create a collage of photos and then print them on the 5x7 photo paper and cut them to put throughout my journals and planners. It has worked so much better for me because the photos looks beautiful. Hope this helps! 🤍
