But like for my hair it’s weird it’s like when I blow dry it the top bsck of my hair gets really tangled and I can get it out untill it fruits all the way

Well you see...... I have extremely thick hair that is like 3 times the amount of hair of the average person so in that case it takes me 1 hour to blow dry my hair
Daniela Gomez I totally get that! My sister has incredibly thick hair too. When I have tested this process on her hair, it ends up taking about ten minutes to get the same result. It isn’t a perfect blowout, but it gets the hair dry enough to be able to leave the house. Selena Gomez’s hair stylist uses this trick on her thick hair!

I have long hair and I can testify this worked like a charm - 10 mins total - It always took 1 hour of air drying + 15-20 mins hair dryer - now it’s 10 + 10 mins !!

great video! Thank you! However, I think it works only for straight hair or hair to be straightened afterwards. I don't know how to apply these methods in curly hair that need a diffuser to be blow dried. I have curly thick and coarse hair and If I want to flat iron (rarely) it I need only 12-15 minutes to blow dry (always use the concentrator as it adds speed of air, I do sectioning and use an ionic maroccan oil brush that helps with blow drying time) but if I need to diffuse it (every time I wash my hair) then I need 40-50 minutes to complete dry it (same blow dryer, same settings, higher heat and speed settings, and even tried the veil net plop hat to blow dry it without the diffuser on). I don't know how to achieve fast diffusing (I also use AVEDA blow dry accelerator spray but do not help ) . All hairdressers I asked told me to cut my hair shortbut I don't want that and I cannot afford a dyson, T3 or ghd (my current blow dryer has 2400 watt).
I have had success with this method on my curly haired clients, but depending on the person and hair length, it could take longer. Have you tried the paul mitchell quick slip? That is the best quick dry product i have found

@@NineBlooms I tried the quick slip for a couple of times (just bought it). It works, thank you so much for recommending it! I used it as a leave in conditioner in damp hair before my styler. I think the second time it worked better (I still need to learn how to use it and applied a bit more product than the first time) and diffusing took around 10 minutes to get 85-90% dry which is a record for me. Air drying after the blow dry took less time as well (think for an hour at the most). The tricky part is to learn how to diffuse sectioned hair (could not find tutorials on this) but still I am so happy!! For the times I did not use the quick slip, I tried to use less product (less amount of leave in cream, much less in oil and a bit of a gel or foam) and this also helped a bit with drying time. I have always applied huge amount of product (my hair is dry and curly and gets very frizzy with no product) and I had never realized that this might elongate drying time and just realized it quite recently.

well it depends on the thickness and consistency of ur hair, it took 30 mins for me to dry my hair completely using this method

I had my hair styled for the first time ever and I'm just trying to recreate it at home cause she said it was just curling but I've never dried my hair with a blow dryer 😭
did she use a round brush? That often helps with the curling process. Or I highly suggest watching the sequel to this video where I use a blow dryer/round brush combo!

I tried this and I get good result in this. Mine is a little more longer and thicker than yours. So I take more than 5 minutes. But with this I save a lot of time.

Hi Miriam! The longer your hair is, the more time it will take. This is why I usually keep my haircut a bit shorter. I don't enjoy spending a long time drying my hair. I recommend talking to your stylist and letting them know about your lifestyle. They can help you choose a style that will work best for you!

Great point! I use this same technique on all hair types as well as when I have longer hair, and It never takes more than 7 minutes
Your hair drys fast because you have fine hair, you don't have thick hair so of course you can dry it in 5 minutes.
Hi Sandy! My hair is on the fine side, but I have a lot of it, which makes it act more like thick hair with the drying process. If you have incredibly thick hair, separate into smaller sections, and it will help speed up the process!
