This is the first time watching your Chanel. I love the way it turned out. Beautiful colors and the shells were cool. I also like the sand affects and of course the waves were also cool!â€ïžâ€ïž
Thank you Patty! Always nice to receive kind feedback like this!
Love it
Thank you!
LOVED that video too! Partway thru doing a seascape from yr beginners tutorial and I'm really happy with it! Funnily enough I also used some white sand that has been sitting around for a very long time, I only just saw you use it in this video and I think it adds just that little extra. I would love to keep doing this but the resin is so very expensive and here in Western Australia it is difficult to get the pretty things like your flat glitter pieces so I had to use ordinary glitter but it's nothing like yours so I might order online and wait to finish this off as I have done it in a tryptic so don't want to risk ruining it for the sake of my impatience haha. I hope you are going to continue creating on your adventure! Stay safe and have fun! Thank u again x x x
Thank you sooo much! What a great comment to read. You have much more patience than me! Iâd love to see your piece wen you are done. I love the white sad too. Glad you are having fun and hope you can find the supplies you want đ€
OMG! Iâm absolutely in love with your beautiful art piece and technique. I love oceans and this feels both real and magical to me. Amazing! You are so talented. That was simply amazing to watch. Hi Tammy I love your videos! I ordered resin and I'm starting on Wednesday so excited! Hope you reply!đ
Hello! Thank you. How exciting. Have so much fun!
Thank you so much made my day you replied!
Danielle Hill haha. I try to reply to all who take the time to comment. But âtryâ being the key word. Happy creating!
I love this! Absolutely beautiful, you inspire me to try this! Quick question... how many layers do you typically do for a project like this? 4 all the time? I want to try but I donât want to botch it up. Thanks in advance!
24lachula thank you so much! The layers really depend on the way itâs looking and how Iâm feeling about it. Haha. I would have added more to this if Iâd had time. You can do as little or as much as you want. Iâve botched plenty of them. Just have fun! Thanks for watching and your kind comment!
Where can I find a list of products that you used? I can't find them?
If you look below the video in the description ( may be a drop down arrow or read more) they are listed there. Thanks for watching!

Fyi..the heat gun you use is no longer available on Amazon ..i actually just went to order it đą
Thank you! Yes, Iâve noticed supplies listed donât last long. Hopefully they will have it back in stock soon đ.
Hello! I LOVE this! Can you please recommend an alternative pigment type/brand/color? Its a little to expensive for me :(
Thank you Emily! I only can speak on what Iâve used but there are a lot of options on Amazon and you can often get sample packs of micas of liquids. Even acrylic paint although be careful as it can cure your resin quickly. Also, the pigments last forever. Iâve never run out! A little goes a long way. Good luck and thanks for watching
Thank you!!!!
Can you use a little bit of acrylic paint in your resin for your color
Where is the blue glitter from? This is beautiful
Thank you Jeri! Thatâs from Counterculturediy (should be info and links in the description below the video) đ€
Iâve missed your videos! Will you continue while traveling the country?
Itâs been hectic! Yes, once we get settled. Maybe switch things up a bit, but will be creating đ
So happy you are back, I have a question. Do you wait for the resin to thicken before pouring. I try to do beach scenes but the coloured resin always runs into each other making a bit of a mess. Love your work.xx PS I am new to using resin.
Hi! Thank you! Iâm not sure which colors you are referring to, but if you donât want your colors to run into each other than let each color cure before moving on. Especially if you are talking about the beach and the blues. Also, some resin are thicker than others which is why you see me work with two types here. I donât usually let mine thicken but you could. Hope this helps! đ€
@@TamsCreativeCorner That does help, Thank You, my blue tends to run into the sand colour.
Leave a space between the blue and sand đ. Resin likes to flow where resin already is. Can also add clear between. Have fun
Hi. This is beautiful. My favorite seascape thank you for this tutorial. I have a question, is there a way to draw in the sand? A heart with a name in it and how to do it? Thank you.
Thank you so very much for the kind comment! I think you could wait for the resin to set up a bit and draw in the heart before it cures?! Have fun creating! -Tammy
@@TamsCreativeCorner thank you!
Iâve seen your vids before. Love how you use that glitter!!! Hey, I have a question?? What temperature do you set your heat gun at to create waves?? Iâm kinda new to resin and I donât want to burn it but I want to move it enough. Seems like itâs a fine line. And a specific temperature lol đ
Thank you so much! My heat gun has a dial but with no specific numbers, so I just kind of play with it until I get it right. It is toward the hotter end though. Lots of practice. Iâve scorched my resin plenty of time. Thanks for watching and have fun creating!
Hi Tam, love your videos. I have a technical question for you. I want to create a lake on canvas with a bank on the ends and a lake that goes halfway up the canvas. Probably didnât describe it well, but my question is, what would you recommend for making the flat horizon of the water?
Hi and thank you for your kind words! Iâm not sure Iâm understanding your question, but a horizon line can be achieved with tape and then you can pull the tape up before the resin sets all the way or heat it up after and pull it up.
Does this help?
Thatâs exactly what I needed to know! Thank you so much.
@@richardcoleman1018 oh good! Have fun!
When you sprinkle the sand on top does that sand stick and not fall off? Does it have a dry look to the beach? Thanks
Hi! You can do it either way. Have the wet look or leave dry on top. Think I showed after the resin cured on the beach portion I dumped the remaining loose sand off and it left a dry sand beach appearance. Thank you for watching!
@@TamsCreativeCorner thanks
Hey Tam, I found a geode of yours via suggestions, and I'm curious if you take commissions or know of someone who does? I have an art piece I'd like made for a friend out of resin.... and while I have a basic idea of what I'd like to see done with it... creative flair is always nicer than just putting something in a block of resin.
Gennifer Bridget Ti'ana Maher hello! Thank you for reaching out! We are traveling full time right now and so Iâm unable to do any large commission pieces. I do have a friend that does them though! Check out Susan Day at Pour Girl Art on Instagram đ. Thank you!
Beautiful piece what do you use to cover your projects?
Thank you! It depends on the size. This one just a plastic container cover I had đ
What do you suggest for bigger pieces to cover the project?
I used to have a shelving system with a plastic cover ( in one of my videos) you can also use a big box or create a plastic tent!
Tams Creative Corner okay thanks đ
I just found you...and you're already gone!!!
Are you still arting?
Is there a new channel?
Where'd ya go...come back!! lol
đ well thanks for finding me! Iâm still here just getting our other channel going over at Til Further Notice đ to share our rv nomad experience.
I actually arted yesterday and will put that video together soon. A bit harder in a home on wheels đł
Have no fear... I have a lot of videos you can watch here until Iâm back at it! Thank you!
Hello, you make it look easy but I am so struggling. Mixing the resin just like the instructions says.
I started pouring and so far it was looking good and glassy until I heard you say you like to put your hands in it so I did and it runner everything to a sticky rough mess. Waiting to see if the glassy look will be back once itâs dried, but otherwise please explain what we need to look for or stay away from when we follow your advice to spread the resin with fingers. Sorry if I sound rude but I am pissed off at the momentâŠ
Hello! Sorry you are having a frustrating experience! Iâve had plenty of those times too. Resin takes a lot of trial and error. All resins are created differently and cure at different rates under different variables. I only use my fingers while the resin is still very runny and hasnât began to set up. If you need to fix it, you can allow it to cure fully and while wearing the proper safety gear sand it down and pour another layer. Itâs hard to assist without being in person because of so many variables, but know that it takes practice and Iâve had my fair share of pissed off moments đ«¶
â @@TamsCreativeCornerthank you so much for taking the time to reply to me, what happen if I donât sand it ?
I am not a fan of sparkle. Itâs too schmaltzy to me, cheap, crafty looking. But the rest is great.
Beautiful work
Thank you very much!
