Nice video. I think it's nice that the children can be with their parents at work as long as they don't see too much at their young ages. And her son seems like a real "people person". Maybe he will pursue a career helping others. Thank you for sharing.

And, like prostitutes, they perform an essential social service that very few are willing to provide .. God bless them ..

I truly appreciate people who do a good job in this industry. They turn the lifeless body to be somehow presentable to the loved ones and this will be last time for the family to see him/her before funeral/cremation. I saw how bad was the embalmed worked toward my mom in law and how bad was the make up. Thank you for giving such a comfort for the families who were left behind. And I guess it is not a taboo to bring her children to be around. Death is real and part of life.

I am very interested in this profession. It's a very have one to into though as the courses aren't offered easily. You have to be already working in the industry before they even look at you. It's then even harder to even get started in the field.

Death is part of life. I don't see why it's unhealthy. They are not exposed to diseased bodies. Am sure mom won't bring kids into embalming room which will interfere in the ritual of embalming. To see the kids so comfortable in the palour is something eye opening for me. To see them running so happily into the palour and playing as if they are in the playground. We grew up thinking ooh this place has ghosts or even superstitiously cursed. Thinking that death is so nearby. I admire Sarah's and her team's jobs. Not many people me included are brave enough to do it. Thank you for teaching me that you guys are doing a wonderful service to the deseased and their grieving loved ones. I am so awed knowing you even worked thru your pregnancy. Bless you.

I know of this funeral director/embalmed died in his 50's. They could not figure what was wrong with him. He passed away. Some said, it was due to chemical fumes.

I think it is a brilliant young people are being raised around caskets/coffins and dead clients It takes away the fear of death away from them which I fully support. Remember a dead person cannot halm you it is only the living.
