I’ve recently started using the Haus Labs triclone light medium foundation and it’s been helpful.

I'm going to try that serum as a primer, and I've had great results with all the other Sephora "color" items I've tried, so maybe it's time to explore that luminizer. That question was right on the nose for me. I ran into that problem this morning. I have rosacea and my skin is finally, after a lifetime, looking a lot better, but I still wanted to cover my dark circles. I kind of did what you suggested and put it in a couple other spots, but I'm also leaning into the fact that we're back to masking at work at the moment and people can only see my eyes anyway. Thanks for the tips!
I’ve gone back to my rare beauty concealers too, it’s such a nice formula for the winter months. My absolute fave contour is still kevyn aucoin light powder- not too cool and not too warm but that perfect goldilocks shade. Also yes please to the lips video 👏🏻

i'm in a similar situation to the person who asked the question! i find wearing a more luminous sunscreen is really helpful because it acts as a layer of soft coverage over your whole face. then it's basically your medium to blend your concealer into

I bought the Summer Fridays lip oil this morning and I LOVE it. I got the pale mauve, which is a ‘my lips but better colour on me. I’ve just had lunch, so it’s mostly worn off, but it’s left my lips feeling really soft and hydrated.
Another great video. Am now interested to try your technique of a blush to warm up just above the contour and then a pop of colour. The pink blush also looks interesting.
Funny I’ve been on a powder kick too, go back and forth with it. I do like the natural look it gives and your brows are awesome ❤

I knew there was something different about your look! What a subtle but amazing difference using powder in your brows has made! Absolutely flawless! Another great video from you, thanks for the extra advice at the end as I too hate the feeling of foundation therefore stay away from it but I do use everything else, oh and I don't contour because I'm paranoid it will be obvious! The Smashbox palettes remind me of the Shimmer, Shape and Glow palettes from Mally Beauty YEEEEAAARS ago. There was only one blush though. I used to love that one! It was so nice. Not sure when Mally stopped making them...haven't thought about that brand in quite some time. Thanks for sharing your faves!

Oooo Alex, I just watched your previous video on the comparisons of peach & pink color correctors on olive-tone skin. Color correctors has never worked for me but I get the appeal. I just came across some samples of the new nyx concealer stix. I like them, it's creamy & easy to use & I have oily, light-medium, neutral-olive skin. I'm always in between shades. Shades 04 light, 05 vanilla, & 06 natural are working for me so far. I would like to see your sephora brand favorites 🖤🤍❤️

Do you have any tips to overcome the splitting of the ink when using an eye brow pen? When I use the pen the ink starts to crumble on my skin and doesn’t look like a hair.
I’m thinking maybe pen is not for me. I have super dry skin and need the most nourishing skin care and spf. The pencils set with powder is the best way for me so far.

I catch all your posts and love the amazing looks you create! I would enjoy it if you did a cleanse product post. I always find it difficult to remove mascara even with make up remover. Eye shadows with sheen are also challenging. Appreciate your input!!!

Thank you for answering that specific question! The way my face is structured is similar to Mila Kunis with the deep hollows under the eyes. It always looks dark cause there’s a shadow that will always be there. I don’t like full coverage personally because my skin tends to get dry. Just working on finding the right products, skin prep, also making sure I get enough rest cause that makes a huge difference.
People say I look tired almost all the time though and I haaaate it 😂
alex you should try sephoras new best skin ever glow concealer!! i've only used it a few times but it's been GORGEOUS. it isn't super heavy but has coverage and had little creasing on me
