That nitro looks like a 2.5 chassis that he just slapped a 3.3 into. Pipe and air filter are definitely 2.5! I still would rock it bro! I personally like the aluminum upgrades, but each to his own I say. 😅
Hey dude, how you doing man, I would agree with you. This most likely started out as a regular 2.5 and the guy put the 3.3 into it while he was making all of the pointless upgrades, lol there is an updated running video on this truck to you. Should definitely check that out. I think you’ll like it.

Hey man, how you doing, happy to hear you’re trying to resurrect another great Tmaxx. I would definitely recommend this replica carb in my opinion it’s as good or better compared to the original although the original is only about $40 so you’re really only saving about half.

I’ve gone through two of those cheap Amazon carburetors. One cracked at the high-speed needle. And the others needles stripped east

I tried one of these carbs no luck the throttle end was plastic it broke and the high needle kept backing out when running my revo.Think I'll pay the extra for better parts
My traxxas carb has 2 O Rings on it to. And if I take the plastic high speed needle cap off it looks like that exactly

Hey man, that is a very good point. I was thinking that same exact thing, lol. Well, this is example of yet another Tmaxx, with the useless upgrades would’ve been better off being stock and on modified.
I need a carburetor for a 2.5 that I got in a trade deal. The OEM one is missing needles so I would just get a new one. A OEM one from Jenny’s RC is $25 without shipping. I’m planning on putting a 2.5 in a stampede that I got. I was gonna put a O.S 18 CVR into it but it doesn’t have a pull start and only a backplate. I might just sell the O.S and get a engine that works from SH or even a pro .15

Hey dude! thanks of checking this video out. Those are just spare parts, I didn't use any of mine to be honest. You really dont need them. You just need to swap the carb and you'll be good to go. NitroGang The spare metal screw is the pinch bolt, but you're reusing the original one anyway.

Hey bro, happy to see you here and let’s hope you can make your old Traxxas run great just like I did in this video. I would definitely recommend this replica carb, for the $20 cost you get all new O-rings and it’s a direct fit. This one literally did not even need any tuning adjustments. I just put it on and that’s how I ran.

Hey man, how are you doing, good question, unfortunately, I think I forgot to mention this part in the video, but to answer your question I literally did not tune the carb at all, the way I installed it is exactly how it was in this video.
