personally I love my Ogio Renegade RSS. it's very similar to this one, but with a hard shell compartment at the top where I keep flash drives or even an external SSD, as well as hard shell protection for your laptop. Check it out when you get a chance. Its the bag I use for everything now.
***** I can respect that. I've always been a tall person myself, so large bags were nothing to me. And I always tend to carry everything with me. Aside from my own sort of tech kits, I carry repair tools, hand sanitizer, travel toothbrush, etc. So the extra space really helps me.
I really recommend cloud storage. Something that is integrated into windows and Microsoft Office is OneDrive. It is absolutely amazing. It is free of course and gives you like 5gb, and using it is seamless because it's just another folder on your PC, not an app or a webpage that you need to launch. For safety, I also save the files on my desktop so I have a copy in the cloud and an offline copy on my laptop's drive.

I love the mdr xb950bt😍however i broke mine, they aren't really rugged, i had droped them from knee height and the connection between the headphone and the loop broke and now, well ducktape saves the day.

I agree with this for me in computer science/engineering and game design/development surface book 2 is my go to with if I could having a MacBook for my other classes to just do some work on would be pretty cool. Budget may not agree but we will see.
Definitely not what I would consider an ideal college backpack setup :/. But whatever works for you. Key is to find what fits your needs and your schedule. Personally, I try and keep things minimal. I don't need 10 feet of cable, I don't need 6 days of battery life, I don't need a flash drive (onedrive/google drive),etc. I need sunglasses, water, a few notebooks, Altoids, IEMs, stuff like that.

For a day-to-day portable battery I'd go with a 10,000 mAh one. It'll still charge your phone several times over, and it itself will only take 4 hours to charge so it's ready when you need it. Can't imagine how long that 30,000 one takes lol

I am not the full hater guy but the macbook that you mentioned needs an adapter if you need to use it and it canot be constantly hooked up to cz the backpack is small so you have the usb receiver of the g602 constantly hanging around in the backpack...

Uni student here, I take headphones, charger + plug, iPad air 1 + keyboard, 1 notepad and 3 pens. and a really slim backpack, really slim. That's it.
