    Closing on a low mileage Sequence tomorrow afternoon. Thor Motor Coach videos are the best! I feel so prepped and ready I can’t imagine what they can tell me I won’t know on the walkaround. Even told the sales guy some things he didn’t know about the Sequence from your videos.

    Thor, if you're reading... Please add Dual Pane Awning Style Windows as an option (like on Travato). Fridge on 20A/AT is too small, needs the 5.5cuft model. 20A/AT needs a vent fan like on other models, as there is no way to actively vent air on 12V. Positive locking drawers and cabinets would be an upgrade.

    Redesigning - I would use the beds from the 20L with the lifting headrest; Murphy the second half and slide out. Nobody wants to sleep in the crack. Replace the little end table with a closet, then dry bath at the end. Fridge next to kitchen. How much do the overhead cabinets weigh?

    The possible 10-12 AC run time on the Lithium batteries is will the van is not in motion and not connected to electricity, correct? How long will the AC run on the regular batteries, not the Lithium?

  • @Msgizmo381
    @Msgizmo381 Před 3 lety

    Yesss, it has lithium bathroom with lots of space. Easy to use beds, and a little solar. Maybe with the smaller freshwater tank you could put a water recirculator that filters 5 gallons of the 18 gallon fresh water tank that can be dumped once a week or one that can be dump it every two weeks depending how many people's are taking a shower. That would be a great option. You could take a one hour shower and not empty you fresh water holding tanks.

    There’s a great aftermarket tire carrier, roof rack, and winch mount options that you can find with Last Line of Defense YT channel.
    I’m hoping that Long Range America comes out with an extended range tank for the Pro Master.
    Now for the lithium option, I would opt for the Battle Born Battery setup to save thousands. Toss in a HD alternator and you’ll get the same off the grid performance,

      Even watching all the Thor videos and thinking I was really prepped for the buying experience, one thing I didn’t know until the walk around was this Sequence doesn’t have a generator!! The sales guy said he’d never seen a Sequence that had one. Huh??? I had just looked at a 2021 a few days before that had one. I had thought the lithium option was not very common because of cost but I guess I was wrong!

    There has been limited Information on the Tellaro lithium system other than specs. Are the power packs inside or outside if so are they heated? Also one of the video shows the Tellaro AT with a coiled exterior water hose but no obvious plug in. Lastly does the Tellaro AT come with your exterior ladder system and where is it stowed. If you haven't noticed I'm very intrigued by the Tellaro AT lithium model. Thank you in advance.

    I know this is an old video, but I'm curious if there will be a sofa bed option for the 20A and 20AT floor plan instead of the traditional bed in back. A competitor has that option with two extra seatbelts, and that is one of the reasons I'm leaning toward purchasing from a competitor instead of the Thor product.

    I love my sequence 20K. It is a floorplan available no where else. I would love to see some sort of option where I could put an e- bike and trunk on the back, and still have a spare tire. That tire is a necessity for my upcoming Alaska trip ( if the virus allows it ) I think a solution would be if someone would make one of the door hinge mounted spare tire carriers, one is made for the sprinter van. I talked to several after market van outfitters, and they said the promaster is not after market friendly for this type of upgrade, but I have a difficult time believing someone could not create one. What if Thor used their influence, and got some producer to make them, so that they could at least be offered. That way I could use my hitch for my stowaway trunk and my e bike carrier. You can only put so much on that hitch without it either being too heavy or too long and then it bottoms out when you go into a driveway or something. And e-bikes more and more for many of us in the b van communty are becoming a part of our set up. The current bike carrier cannot be used for an e bike. On our b van group, I think everyone on there is looking for a way to modify their bike rack and turn it into something else, seems like a lot do not use that particular rack.

      we have 2 ebikes, too much weight for the bike rack, per Thule, so I extended the bike rails and added a small cargo box as extra storage, then use the classic Thule rail system, works great. Now will add extensions to the existing roof Thule rails they should extend out another 6"to accommodate a cargo box on top! Small details, but missed by the design team, as well as the poorly designed sewer line storage! Not sure about the spare tire, but would be a good idea to incorporate.

    I like as much solar as I can get. Love the pop up, as a single traveler with company once in awhile, but would love to have a washer option, and only a side couch single Murphy bed with table/desk under. Love the bath in the back. Would it be possible to have a pop up, back bath and long side work counter/cabinet instead of an extra bed. And of course a medium sized fridge. I saw a UK conversion which borrowed tiny home stairs with fridge built under instead of a ladder. Why not also a small washer? I am a single senior and am planning to live full time in my van. I planned to build a tiny house, designed it and decided to go the van way because of safety, ease of travel and driving. I know all options are not possible, however the appeal of a tiny house off grid really appeals plus the self design aspect. A van self build as of yet is not possible. I can’t yet choose to have a compost toilet, no generator, my shower where I want it etc. For the most part I am stuck with a queen bed. Oh, and I don’t want cable or TV’s etc. I use my IPad and streaming only. I need charging stations, additional outdoor shower, A/C & no wasted spaces. I would love to see more options please. I looked at the Solis, liked it somewhat but it is shorter. Maybe the option of some furniture included but the ability to add a bed etc. of my choosing. Thanks for listening.

      Karen I bought a portable washer off Amazon for $70 and a $175 spin dryer and finish off on rack or hanger/sunshine. Currently in apartment and work very well for small/light laundry, just need water and electric hook up. I bought it with eventual use of RV in mind. I had my doubts about it but works surprisingly well and saves a boatload of money. The reviews have many practical ideas as to how best to use the machines. Every 8-10 weeks I bring my big things such as king sheets/other large items to super clean laundromat 10 miles away with good internet; I am rural and do not go "into town" much with the pandemic.

    • @jackiehorn3724
      @jackiehorn3724 Před 4 lety +1

      This is one of the most common questions I find when talking to people. I wish someone would make a spare tire carrier for the promaster like what is made for the sprinter, but no one makes one that works with the promaster. You pretty much have to have a hitch mounted spare tire carrier. Some people have created their own mod using the bike rack, but that is very difficult for a solo female to get a tire up that high and onto a tire carrier that high. Easy to get it down, you just lower it down as gently as you can, but putting it back up is another story.
