All of these are literally the "be not afraid" "this is the hottest moment of my life" meme
I wish they also added some VFX too. HSR doesn't shy away from cosmic horror. I'd imagine some meta imagery where the visuals ignore the chat on the side and appear all over, even if for just a few seconds. Bugs crawling around on the screen for Tayzzyronth, Nous' wires coming from all sides, numerous eyes randomly appearing for Yaoshi and staring at the player, Xipe's effect we saw during Penacony 2.1, the entire screen going completely black for a bit when IX appears with the chat slowly fading back in as Herta calls out to the TB. I think it'd help them feel even more creepy and otherworldly.

Among the Gods that Hoyo has created in their games, the Aeons are the ones that feels otherworldy, it's probably their best depiction of universal Gods that's beyond human comprehension.

Aeons are referred to a celestials after all, just like planets :)
I can't help but admire the designs of these Aeons and how close their designs are to their very own concepts. Without a doubt the best batch of deities that Hoyo has ever created in their games when it comes to the designs. Not even the designs of the Archons and Herrschers can't top this.
For me HooH is probably the closest to its conceptual design. Heck even the name is literally the concept of balance.
Honkai impact's herrschers are basically a destroyers of humanity and will do always flaw in their existence following the command of their so called "Cocoon of Finality" since chapter 45 of the game Kiana has taken full responsibility of the Finality in her hands
Coordinator of Will and Jhana's true form is pretty amazing but yeah. In terms of conceptual representation, Aeon rules hard af.
The advantage the Aeons got compared to Herrschers or Archons is that they don’t need to look human, while some have human characteristics like Tayzzy or Lan you can’t actually see them as one
That's because they're not playable or look like human at all and they're only can seen in SU in 2d (for now)
Now i can't imagine if we were to meet thoses Aeons face to face for real... during the Equilibrium quest i could say that the voice is Hooh itself and the fact that Aha was there somewhere lurking around during Phantylia's second phase is already creepy.
We're definitely going to meet Xipe face to face next patch, as we did with Nanook and Qlipoth in the previous storylines (how MC gained new paths)
During the Equilibrium quest I would say that we heard the voice of one of the Arbiters.

@@rhadjboi Fr, sometimes I feel like Akivili was the only eon who genuinely put up with Aha's jokes and maybe even found them funny.
The truth is that I felt a bitter feeling when Aha suddenly became discouraged when I was doing the event where we could talk to him, the worst of all was when he said that we were not really Akivili and he simply killed us in the simulated universe, if the aeons had voices I'm sure Aha's tone would go from playful to gloomy without emotion, I think Akivili's death really affected Aha mentally.

@@SagittariusAyyEna didn’t get absorbed. Xipe’s Path was simply too powerful that it overlapped Ena’s Path, completely killing her. Let me put it in a way you’ll understand. Basically, imagine a person just walking on a street and a building suddenly falls and crushes the person, completely killing them. That’s pretty much what happened to Ena.
@@SagittariusAyyPlus, Ena and Xipe’s goals were EXTREMELY similar which is why Xipe’s Path overlapped. For instance, Ena was OBSESSED with order, she was the type that was willing to slaughter thousands for the sake of keeping everything in perfectly straight line. Meanwhile, Xipe was the type that doesn’t care whether everything was in order or not but as long as they were working together peacefully.
@@Arbitrator-l4rin SU herta suprised and says that ena is not consumed by harmony, rather they became one 🤔. I guess it means ena herself want to be absorbed 🤔

What I think the remaining Aeons sounds would be:
Nanook: Some sort of eruption, like the real-life recording of Krakatoa.
Lan: I guess it would be some sort of sound speeding up and rising in pitch until it completely disappears + an arrow whistling and roaring.
Yaoshi: A fleshy pulse, deep, hoarse breathing, and the cracking of vines and branches.
Edit: I'm back with more.
Idrila: Bells, chimes, a choir, and various animal and human noises on a calm ambience.
Akivili: The sound of steam and a grand foghorn sound that moves into the sound of waves, steps, and trains on tracks with a drone that grows as the sound goes on.
Terminus: A loud cacophony of noises (in reverse) from the Aeons that raises and lowers in pitch and dissonance, slowly quieting down to a lonely hum.
For Idrilla I think it would be that bell sound effect you hear on Argenti's ult
@no_title0w0 I just remembered the Penacony Quest where we met a singer from a planet closely affiliated with Idrila. It could be a bell and various animal noises with a gentle ambience behind it all.

For Terminus, maybe it could sound like playing in reverse (since they seem time backwards).

Idrila, akivili, terminus, and those aeon that doesnt have any sound yet. So much end game potential. 😊
I don't think Idrila gonna exist in SU until we got another Knight of Beauty again in the future, i guess...
Well Su is all about the past,just like we see swarm disaster that has happen a long time ago. There's definitely a chance to see idrila before she goes missing

@@Telaso69 Actually, that's a really good point. Swarm Disaster and Gold & Gears are both simulations of major events to figure out what exactly occured.
I can absolutely see them trying to figure out what happened to Idrila.
I like how aeons seem more like abstract concepts than actual living creatures. Very unique from gods in the previous games.
Being someone who's played the two games (Genshin, HSR) it's interesting to see how the gods vary.
I do like genshin's, the archons all have varying characteristics that are interesting, but they lean more to a human side, even though they are known to have other nonhuman forms (Ex: Zhongli, Rex Lapis form)
But with aeons, it's a different story. The art on them is wicked good, the sound designs encapsulates what it would be like to face them, and also, I like how they notably lean more into a eldrich side of things.
Idk, I yap alot about things I like.
TL;DR: Genshin's archons are more human, HSR's aeons are more eldrich
HooH makes me feel like a Fear and Hunger enemy including that sound

especially with the accretion disk being depicted as water after Acheron sends Aventurine to the Void, I wonder if Nihility is going to be related to the concept of the ocean in some way?
The ocean symbolism may be related to the fact that penacony is 'sinking' into a deep sea (dreamscape), where all the memoria (and blue hues) are located.
Some has theorized that this dreamscape is actually HSR's version of the sea of quanta from hi3, where tiny ideas exist and grow bigger but never truly become whole, which is why in some parts of the dream scape you see holes into what seems like a void
If you read the Acheron set relics set lore it's also about a Nameless trying to make a name for herself by literally diving into nihility with diving equipment

Not gonna lie, I was not expecting to get Nihility lore going into Penacony, but as IX is one of my favorite Aeons, I am *ALL FOR IT*

The sonar ping also gives it a sense of loneliness, like a signal that becomes lost to the waves, the sonar detects nothing, and there is nobody left.

And the funny thing is that there are many people who think that the archons can defeat the Aeons while their power is only limited to Tevyat while the Aeons have authority to change the laws of the universe itself
I just realice that every Aeon has their little icon except for HooH, maybe the other pathd will become playable in the SU but its seems that the equilibrium wont be part of it :c
Oh, that might be a glitch. You can actually see HooH's insignia as the logo for the "equilibrium" missions when you level up your adventure rank

MAJOR PENACONY 2.2 FINALE SPOILER AHEAD
Since I saw this video a while back I was obsessed with the look and sound of Ena the Order ( 0:57 ). Since it was absorbed by Xipe the Harmony, I hoped it would play a role in the Penacony Quest. When I saw the design of the Sunday Boss (Phase 3) in the leaks it reminded me so much of the porcelain like face of Ena. When Sunday revealed his true path, that of The Order, everything made sense and it was so satisfying to realise!
The funny thing is I stopped playing the Sim Uni DLCs for over half a year that I almost completely forgot about Ena the Order. When Sunday was revealed to be following The Order, for a split second I was like..."Wait The Order is an Aeon?!?"
I love how Aha once convinced a huge portion of the annihilation gang that they should attempt to destroy an Aeon and suggested they target the meek, unassuming, weak aeon IX.
…..they were never seen or heard from again

So, assuming Aeons always gaze at the trailblazer when they get a new path
What is going to happen with Nihility? Like Acheron said, IX doesn't gaze at anyone, if I'm not mistaken, she briefly got direct contact with them, right? So when the trailblazer gets Nihility path, I wonder if the trailblazer will have direct contact with it? Or maybe even swallowed by it which sounds terrifying
Ooh, getting swallowed by them does sound pretty interesting. I mean, we did essentially flow into Nanook's bleeding golden chest before we got their gaze, it'd be pretty interesting if for IX we get trapped in their gravitational pull
As for acheron, she experienced both: realizing that countless decades of her fighting the Kami was all for nothing, and the fact that her world, Izumo, got swallowed by a black hole

For some reason, HooH doesn’t have their own Aeon insignia that shows up on the bottom left of the screen when their respective Aeon does.
Edit: me describing what the Aeons sound like for absolutely no reason.
Qlipoth: Blacksmith hammering away in the forge
Fuli: the reversed sound of shattered glass
Aha: a bunch of small bits of laughter, like a laugh track followed up by a party whistle
IX: Deep space probe sonar
Tazzyronth: the sound of something sleeping being spontaneously disturbed and shrieking in retaliation while flying away
Nous: the special FX when you want to convey how deep space is
Xipe: a harmonious choir
Ena: something like a mechanical musical instrument involving woodwinds, like a church organ.
Oroboros: sloppy eating and digesting stomach sounds
HooH: robotic whirr
Mythus:????
Mythus sounds like a crystallize staircase descending into the abyss follow by the echo of someone falling off screaming
Akivili will just have a train whistle.
Nanook probably just that coal wood fire thing where it crackles. All must burn owo.
Thats some amazing sound design, it's something I dont really notice or care when playing bc damn I just grinded thru 20 rounds of enemies, give me a break if Im braindead but when done like this you start realizing, how unique, fitting and unnerving the sounds can be especially the ones who appear human but with an uncanny feel. They feel like Gods, or otherworldly beings that are so powerful that people praise and follow them.
Ena's is so cool and scary.
