The most perfect words in the most perfect time. Erin’s words of encouragement touched my heart in ways I didn’t realize I needed. I honestly cried as I remembered when God saved me and how He has redeemed me. God will not forsake me now and the fact that He is writing my story too brings me a blessed assurance that I can trust Him writing it no matter how confusing it may be. Praise the Lord, thank you for this ministry and thank you for your faithfulness!

Sometimes there is abandonment when the parents are emotionally unavailable, while also being abusive, which is worse than if they had simply walked away. God can set us free from our need for relationship with a dysfunctional parent, for our protection. This is what He has done for me, and I am so thankful that He has protected me from bitterness or unforgiveness, while recognizing that some people cannot give us something they do not possess. We'll be Home with our true Father soon enough. In the meantime, we occupy for His glory. Blessings to all!

Erin, sister. There are so many of "you" out there (including myself). I come from a broken family background as well as my husband. It has been AMAZING how God has restored our family through redemption. It's always a working process though. The pain never 100% leaves, BUT God. The "lightbulb" went off for me and my family 2 years ago and it's been a journey ever since. With me, it was a lack of a mother. Healing a mother wound is no easy task. Figuring out motherhood without a mother being present seems impossible sometimes, but there is hope. I am so grateful for Revive Our Hearts Ministry, Nancy W. and Susan Hunt and their PASSION for Titus 2 discipleship. Our wounds aren't as deep and painful when the body of Christ is whole and stepping in as those mother and father figures. I can choose to complain about the cards dealt to me or I can choose to find ways of healing and concentrate on the redemption, seeking out ways God can USE me. The Enemy wants me to be unusable. We have to fight that and be available to be used. Thank you Nancy and Erin for this podcast. It is CRUCIAL that these types of podcasts make it out into the world. These stories! They help heal hearts and souls. Blessings!

Can so relate! Still trying to make sense of the brokenness of my parents divorcing at my age of 11. Seems like something I never got over entirely. The brokenness has affected our family for many years. I agree with you when you say: it changed me from having the world below my feet. It felt like the great divide: I (and my mother and brother) was a different person pre-divorce than I have been since. Really seeking God for His redemption even now. My dad, too, continues to be distant, and I, like you, am so aware of my reliance upon God as my real Father, and my husband. Sadly, it affected me in a way such that I went on to go through a divorce as an adult, and my children feel the brokenness. We (my children and I) daily have to depend on Him to be our everything, our all, and He is! God, Jesus, Holy Spirit drawers near to those who humbly need Him.

Diane I'm asking you to watch this entire interview. We had very broken child hoods and this maybe would help you deal with that part of our lives. LET JESUS REDEEM YOU 💜 I Love you so much and want you to have the peace that I have through Jesus Christ. Let GOD write our story. It wasn't His will what all happened to us but he can certainly use it for our good and His glory. Love you ♥️

Amen. Please listen. Seventeen years with an unbelieving spouse. Very hard. Very lonely. The Lord showed me before NOT TO marry him, but did not want to be alone so I compromised. Please listen.

I am sending all my Spiritual Shepherds this question: I need a Bible reading plan for a 9yr old to start in his Bible? He has no idea about any of the Bible other than things we talk to him about. So we need a guide for him as a new believer. Thank you God Bless

Absolutely. Brokenness happens in ... e v e r y ... f a m i l y. It's just a part of being human; and living in our fallen world with a sin nature attached. Poor, middle class and wealthy families.. in every corner of our world; no matter who you are. Every human being on the planet has to eventually deal with brokenness, hurt, pain, betrayal of some kind. The old saying is true: "hurt people = hurt people". God; see's every .... tear, hurt, painful moment in our lives. HE alone is the GREATEST HEALER. It's comforting to feel now; we are the last generation. Looking forward to THE RAPTURE of the church !! Praise Jesus; I can't wait to go "home" and see family and loved ones again. I hope and pray .... every Christian and Messianic Jewish Christian is ready for the rapture. We are SO CLOSE !!
