Driving The Gorgeous Beartooth Highway! Beautiful Montana!

- Come along as we drive the beautiful Beartooth Highway from Red Lodge, Montana to Cooke City, Montana. At around 69 miles long, this gorgeous highway takes drivers through beautiful pine forests, majestic mountains and alpine tundra. At the highway’s summit, you will find an amazing world of glacial cirques, clear alpine lakes, and snow that lingers through the summer months. It's a drive we highly recommend doing at least once in your life. You'll most likely want to keep coming back again and again. There are amazing waterfalls as well, so you can get up close and personal with the rushing water. As you can see, we loved our drive on the Beartooth Highway! So reminds me of my years of driving from British Columbia through the Rocky Mountains to go visit my parents here in Nova Scotia. A trip that I always looked forward to and returning just before the beginning of a new school year. There is something special about the sight of those majestic mountain peaks...and even bonus when there is still snow! Awesome!!

Awesome and beautiful areas. The views from the highway and viewpoints were fantastic. Personally, I'd be a bit worried about being in Grizzly country. Awesome to see the mountain goats. That really is one of the most beautiful trips in the country. Way too many people....at least when we were there a couple years ago....but, that goes with the territory.

I have been to the top of Beartooth Pass. The only thing that is alive are 5-10 Species of Moss. The views are beautiful when you look 360. Everyone must take the Beartooth pass out of Yellowstone at least once.
