      it's also been reported that two individual CBS employees confirmed that Toney did in fact check with the official prior to the snap to make sure he lined up right, and STILL got flagged. Officials are supposed to confirm if a player is in the zone or not when asked by a player.

    His entire foot is in front of the ball.
    Also, look when the flag came out! It was instantly. They didn't know the Chiefs were going to go on & do some crazy play afterwards, the officials actually did their job for once & the Chiefs are mad about it.

      They're discussing it because it's an embodiment of the Chiefs season. The WRs collectively have struggled and it has made Patrick's job impossible. The team leads the NFL in drops. It also is a really cool play that gets called back because a WR forgot to do the most elementary thing, which is look at the official and ensure he was lined up properly.

      @FireMrshlBill Před 6 měsíci

      @@brycelynds3768 Yes, because if you take this play in isolation, it was correct. If you add them not throwing the flag on Miller (I think it was) doing the same on defense, you can't say both were correct calls. They let one slide and threw the flag on one, and can't deny they didn't see the other. That needs to be addressed. Complain away, it wasn't just an isolated incident of inconsistency, it has been something that has plagued the game forever and gets ignored even when it ruins games. They will go out of their way to change rules to "rebalance" the game, like they plan to with the tush push this off season, but won't address the refs being terrible in any way and deny it when everyone watching sees how terrible it is. How many games have we seen them let the teams go at it all game, then late in the game they call a holding or PI they have blatantly let go all game? You know they saw the others, but then inconsistently called the late one. I'm fine with them calling or letting things go, just have to be 100% about it the entire game, and preferable across all games for the season and make adjustments off season and be clear with the teams about the adjustments.

I’ve been a bills fan for 46 years, I’m a diehard fan and bills mafia. I will never root for another team but I don’t know that that’s a game that we should really be celebrating. We barely won and the fact that with two minutes left in the first half and we were up 14 and then we let them get 10 almost 17 in the second half and all we got were two field goals? I accepted several weeks ago that the bills are not going to the Super Bowl this year, we haven’t earned that. But I’m still glad we beat the Chiefs and screwed up their home advantage. Because honestly the Chiefs don’t deserve to go to the Super Bowl this year either And after listening to Mahomes and read blame everybody but themselves has further convince me that they don’t deserve to go to the Super Bowl this year.
