Clever Dog Learns That He Can Use A Leaf To ‘Buy’ Treats At The Store

On Colombia’s Diversified Technical Education Institute of Monterrey Casanare campus lives Negro - a sweet black dog that has watched the day-to-day activities of students for the last five years. The faculty care for this canine by giving him food and water, and a place to rest for the night. However, the dog was smart in watching the students each day; he’s been able to do something neat. Negro watches them go into a campus store where they purchase things on their break. Many times, they buy him a cookie. Noticing how they exchanged currency for their food, Negro decided to try something similar. He went and got a leaf (think green), and took it to the store to “buy” himself a cookie.
