- City of Ashes is a third-person isometric action roguelike fighting game developed by BatFields. Players will engage in hack-and-slash combat within the streets and ruined buildings of a decaying city. Battle through what's left of civilization and stand in opposition against a deranged cannibal in search of a daughter. City of Ashes is launching in early 2025 for PlayStation, Xbox, iOS, Android, and PC (Steam).

Looks fun enough but the hits lack impact. Feels like there should be some sort of small screen shake or some sort of effect to get the impact of the hits right.
Especially for a game that is MMA based.

No weapons, no sneaking, no tension, seemingly very little story...and - even though I'm bored to death by zombies - not even any zombies. Don't even call it "hack-and-slash" when you're not doing any of the two. Too be fair, it's hard to make a game like this not look utterly boring.
