As others have mentioned, Spiritbox wrote the 6-track EP, The Fear of Fear, with the intention it should initially be listened to in sequence, and Cellar Door happens to be track 1. So, a nice order to do the reactions might be (*oops, would have been, as I now see you’ve already reacted to The Void and Jaded when they were released as singles prior to the EP release): 1. Cellar Door 2. Jaded* 3. Too Close/Too Late 4. Angel Eyes 5. The Void* 6. Ultraviolet But I’m looking forward to your reactions to the remaining 3 tracks! 😀
Good morning from New England.. I'm a casual SB listener and these are the songs I'm drawn to That chorus is Alice In Chains sludgey and I'm loving the drums ✌️🧐🤘
While you won't be reacting to the songs in order, the EP is a concept album but it was not advertised as one, so naturally people had no idea until they listened to all the songs together... which was what Courtney wanted to see happen. Because she didn't necessarily want people to realize it until they listened.
This song transitions right into their Grammy nominated song Jaded.

I suggest listening to Too Close/Too Late and then angel Eyes back to back. On the EP they released they follow each other. It’s perfect yin and yang
