I like to see the failures along with the successes. Shows me that everyone has those rough days. Went bass fishing with a bud yesterday, he did pretty good, but all I got was 3 chain pickerel over the 6 hours we were out on the lake in our kayaks. Keep the videos coming!
You do great videos man. I'm actually a pretty habitual bass fisherman myself but I've started to move more into fishing with live bait lately because i just dont have many fishing places in my area and all the places I do go to are all really murky dirty pond water and I've gone fishing many many times for hours on end and either caught nothing or caught a bunch of fish the size of what you were catching at the beginning of this video. I'll definitely be trying out this kit as well as some of your tactics I noticed during this video in the near future. Keep doing what you do man you're great!
bro! keep your head up. your days will come and go, good or bad, im a bass starter and i havent caught any. but i try and try every weekend. im almost 50 and get pumped trying to learn what i can fron you and a few other channels. i cant wait to catch a bass. me and my low cost rod and reel and cheap baits go out on Sundays and just relax and enjoy fishing. i just started bass and need to get what i can out all of you young bucks. keep it up! love the videos!

River smallies love those. Been fishing those for years, along with the Madmans brand. Btw, it's a tube bait. Jighead goes in the hole, eyelet pops out the tail top, then tie. Pretty basic stuff.
I used to use them extendable cane poles and 4 to 6 pound line and use them fly poppers for big blue gill I catch for flathead bait
I do the same thing! Fly fishing for bluegills with them lil poppers is fun and yes there a dam good bait for big flat heads

other zoom color was pumpkin seed, red shad was right on the other one. glad you did the crawbug. i've had a bag of those things in my box for a year now that my brother bought and I have yet to find a way to rig em that I thought would work.

The hole is for the jighead to push thru, to the tail bend, hook ends up being out the top front of the face. There’s a slot in the tail, for the head and line tie.
Hook does come out top and its hollow so it stands up like a real craw lightens weight

Orange and green look wonderful under water. I use 3/0 gamagatsu ewg (red) weed less in the claw. Bass tear em up especially on the drop

That Crawbug and Zoom worm kits will do best I think. Good colors in the Zoom worm kit; caught lots of bass on the red shad and green pumpkin.
Always looked at those packages... felt like the crews would be good on a shaky head or jig trailer or t rig.

When the bass fishing is rough I change species! If you want to keep making bangers maybe try for carp/cats etc
I do the same thing dude, love bass and catfish and when the bass are not active I go for the cats, love using live shad and bluegills on a Carolina rig works Everytime, and let's not forget about good ol reliable, chicken livers!

For the flag shirt, staying with the fishing theme instead of having stars and fishing poles to make the flag, replace the stars with some sort of bobber or strike indicator and then still have the poles for the stripes. IDK if it would look good or if it's the dumbest idea I've ever had and I should just stop thinking so much. Dude, don't sleep on the YUM Crawbug. It is the best bedding bass lure ever made. YUM Crawbugs are the TRUTH. That kit is the real deal; a great box, three sizes of jigs, and a great variety of 2.5" and 3.25" Crawbugs. I don't think you can buy those black and blue colors outside of that kit. I wish I could find those kits more often.

Love the vids you are my favorite bass fishing channel
The craw is hollow on the upper body so it sits in a defensive stance and the hook goes through the tail and out the top. I never used the hooks since they're flimsy and not worth losing a big fish. I gave up on the crawbug after an hour lol. After watching this i picked up 6 6th sense cranks including this killer looking swank. Great video as always

I loved this video!! Most of us are struggling to catch fish RN!! The sudden change in the weather w fall arriving late has the fish all janky!!! Didn’t know you were a full time student as well, but that just makes me like your videos more! I appreciate you and appreciate the “real” video. I threw my poles and tackle box out of my boat last week bc I’d fished so dang hard and caught NOTHING!! The day b4 I’d missed my PB on a Fishead Primal crawdad color. So I assumed the next day would be just as amazing as the temp dropped. I was wrong and after 4 hours was so frustrated bc I’d tried everything!! I’m glad I’m not alone!! I fish those flys with a clear bobber and a 3ft leader of 4-6lbs. I do this for the big red ears we have when there on the next or stage up for the nest. Fun fun.

I use this bait all the time for small mouth in southern Ohio. Have to feed the sinker down the mouth to the back and pop the eye through the back. If you keep the hook in the nose it’s weedless. Great bait!
