Good video blog Jenna! Cool idea 💡 I know the stress and hard work involved with business school. Keep up the great work 👍
Thank you so much!
i just did my bachelors.i’m trying to do mba in duke but i dont have any work experience. is that matter for MBA in duke?
Thanks for your comment! Duke and other top MBA programs do require a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience. From my experience, you'll likely get more value out of an MBA having worked for a few years (because you'll be able to connect your experience in "real world" to what you'd learn in school). That being said, there's a number of masters level non-MBA programs (like a masters in management studies) that you could pursue with limited work experience.
I noticed you said you don't have a background in finance. What is your background in? I have a science background but I am going to pivot into business.
Hi Brianna. I do NOT have a background in finance or in business. I studied public health/pre med in undergrad and have a MPH in global health and program management.
What sounds harder to your "ears"? 1. Masters Degree in Economics or 2. Masters Degree in Statistics?
Not sure if one sounds harder - they’re both masters level degrees which implies a certain caliber of learning
@@roundupsave How about...what sounds harder to your ears? 1. Certified Public Accountant or 2. Masters Degree in Statistics?
Again not sure if one sounds harder, they both have their own respective time commitments and exams, and for masters programs applications. I think they are both respectable!
@@roundupsave OK. Thanks for your input!
