Alia Bhatt, hands down. It was soft, and flowery, and classy. That was gorgeous, truly. Thank you SO much for NOT including all the one who showed up without any clothes on. They think, somehow, that that is attractive, and it's not. Alia Bhatt, that was attractive. When I saw those (other horrible) pictures, all I could think was that the MET had hired working girls to grace the carpet for some reason, and they forgot to get dressed after their last John.

I liked Elle Fanning. She looked serene and ethereal.
She's phenomenal. All of the people from India's 1.5 million always love the Indian person and it was really pretty. I wish my Mom could marry her second husband in that and me in Elle's dress or the Butterfly gown.
@@carolinelala9818Elle Fanning looked gorgeous but you have to admit that Mona Patel's dress was simply spectacular. Aliyah Bhatt's saree was ethereal, girly and delicately beautiful, Tyla's ( half Indian- ethnicity) dress slayed and Mindy Kaling's dress was fabulous. Why wouldn't antone like their dresses. The Indians like them not be ause the ladies are Indian because the dresses are in fact, gorgeoeus.

My favorite from the "MetGala" was "Mona Patel" her ensemble was pure happiness, it was such a wonderful look upon the eyes. Simply beautiful !

@@Iliyasadenizthe Saree that zendaya wore was too basic for a saree and it looks nothing like that! The designer of her saree has designed many floral sarees throughout the years and it was just western retro colour combination on a wedding like saree.

@@IliyasadenizI’m guessing you’re not Indian because any Indian person could see that it’s nothing at all like zendeya’s saree. Or anyone that has seen a lot of Indian clothes. In fact, there are two sarees that were worn by other Indian actresses (created by the same designer) that you could compare to it and say it’s inspired from but definitely not the one zendeya wore.
@@Iliyasadeniz zendaya's saree is no where near Alia's saree, sabyasachi is a huge designer he does not have to "copy" anyone he himself is a masterpiece, just cuz the pallu of the saree is long it doesn't mean she is "copying" and also people talking abt her posing when she entered, the photographs did not want to click pictures of her cuz they did not know who alia was these photographers were very rude they even made fun of stray kids, so when the photographs did that to alia, she lost her confidence and she became conscious abt herself. Hence she ended up giving those basic poses

Mindy Kaling was 100% my favorite look. I also really liked Zendaya's dress but felt her makeup detracted from the overall look.

I could hardly recognize Zendaya in her first ensemble. The makeup was way too much the black lip let it down for me.

Come on we all know Zendaya was great but not the best 🤷♀️ Mona Patel is the winner of the night the mechanism of the dress is astounding perfectly on theme and immaculately beautiful. I doubt the MET has witnessed such type of dress before.
Mindy Kaling's fit the theme and she looked amazing, Gonzalez was very pretty, Alia Bhatt gave the garden fairy vibes. All these three were my favorites.

I loved Tyla's sand dress, but seeing how she had to be lifted up the stairs slightly lowered it in my rankings. I think it should be wearable art, not being able to walk up stairs means it's not really wearble imo.
