- Eurovision 2019 is just hours away! This is how I reacted when finding out the running order of the 1st half of the Grand Finale. 2nd half will be up soon.💚✌️

You have a good prediction potential. I knew too, Netherlands would score up high. I really loved north Macedonia too. Was a power song for me.
Placement won't affect The Netherlands that much. Staging is just what it needed to be. Imagine if he went full idiot mode with props and fireworks... It wouldn't be good. It's such a masterpiece and the good thing is that the staging doesn't take your focus off the song, it just drags you even more into it.
Duncan isn't so good as Sobral was (running order 11) to win.

You may have missed these in the press-conferences. But the 1st or 2nd Half's were drawn earlier in the week. The order within the half is determined by the EBU. By the end post-1 SF all but 3 spot in the 2nd half of the Grand Final were already drawn at random. So only 3 acts from 2nd SF could draw for the 2nd half of tonight.
2018: 5 of the big 5 + host country in first half
2019: 1 of the big 5 + host country in first half
2020
All in 2nd half

For your comment about the Neterlands: I don't think the running order has as much impact for the favouites, because they will (probably) do well anyway.

how everyone placed in the semi finals has nothing to do with their placement in the final. there are two factors with wich the organizers decide how to place each country: the first one is each country's props on stage. if two countries have big and difficult to move props they won't place them back to back cause they won't have enough time to switch them. with that said i don't know why they put australia and then spain. i'm guessing one of the hosts will speek a little after australia like they did in the semifinal so they can wheel australia out of the stage. the second one is the songs. if they are up beat or more slow. they won't put back to back two songs that are slow cause then people at home will probably fall asleep. this is why they alternate one slow and one up beat song every year. you have to remember that for us it will be night so in order to keep us awake that's why they open and close the show with 2 really up beat songs ( malta and spain ). i'm telling you i don't know how i'm going to last. i had to have an afternoon nap in order to last so i can see the results. the contest will end arround 3 am in my country.
The staging for The Netherlands is boring? But what should’ve he done instead? Just standing there is copying Portugal 2016. Duncan is a composer, so to me it’s logical that he’s behind the piano. I’m curious to hear what you think.
For me, it has to be different. I’ve heard before songs like Netherlands, Sweden, Cyprus... Same all same all.
Easy songs. So, are we choosing good song, or rememberable stage song?
Sometimes these placements are based on how well they did with the juries.
Example: Albania went late in the first semi last year and they did very well with the juries but outside the Top10 with the televoters.

Back from watching the Final!
4 from the 1st half made it to the top 10. North Macedonia scored their best score ever. Sergey is forever a bridesmaid at 3rd. Sweden barely won televoting. And of course, Netherlands won!

Read political blackmail veto pulling Macedonia back economically/security and blockade to world institutions since 1994 as kingdom of Greece occupied half Macedonia 1913 trough Romanticist propaganda ancient myths for Imperialistic interests implanting nationalism and indoctrination for assimilation claiming all Christians as Greeks...
Just read that it’s not going to be televised in the US. How are you going to be able to watch it Jake as I also read CZcams have put a geoblock that stops it being watched live in the US on the Eurovision.tv channel... really hope you can watch it live

The staging is not that important with this song. It is all about the song. It does not need circus on the stage like other countries.
