One more thing, Grigori Rasputin died by drowning in water, and Razputin and his family was cursed to drown in water..

Honestly, hope if there is a third game that they get into more elemental type psychics like this. ^^

interesting thought, the supposed cursed would've not work too well had the water not actually attack Raz.
hell this whole time that hand would attack Raz without Maligulas presence, entailing that Raz actually has hydrokinesis under his belt of powers
though it makes me wonder how powerful it is considering it activates without him acknowledging it. Pulling Raz out of the water as if the curse just became Benevolent.

I think the curse is suppose to represent intergenerational trauma. Lucrecia had the fear of water implanted by Ford so the sight of water wouldn't trigger her memories of being Maligula and reawaken that persona. That fear was later passed on to Raz's dad which was then passed on to him and his siblings. None of the psychic characters believed in Raz's curse they all said he had hydrophobia or unaddressed issues. The games also show that each psychic character and their family members have a certain psychic power they have a natural talent for. With Raz's family name being Aquato and Lucrecia controlling water very skillfully I think it's safe to say that Raz's family has a natural affinity for hydrokinesis and it was their hydrophobia manifesting in their own psychic powers trying to drown them.
