The interesting thing is that Saint Luke couldn’t have painted the Madonna and Child she was most likely the same age as Jesus or younger so that’s a bunch of crock
I really wish you would clarify your remark. Setting the issue aside of whether Saint Luke was a contemporary or not (which he probably wasn’t), what do you mean by the Madonna was “likely the same age as Jesus or younger”? Assuming Christ actually existed (big assumption), how could Jesus be the same age as his mother (the Madonna) or older? Or do you mean St. Luke was likely the same age as Jesus (wrong pronoun “she” used)?
