the vids circulating of prydz sets lately have been really encouraging. he really dug deep on this one and put together an interesting tracklist. been playing some REALLL dj sets in the last couple months. feels like there are alot of new ids in the pipeline as well. tbh there was a period there where prydz was getting awfully stale - esp as he was focusing on holo, the sets were getting generic and boring. seems like hes reversed that trend
Holo is a production with contractual obligations on a different level than non-holo gigs, which limits creativity and freedom with the set list. I’ve seen three different Holo (London 2019, ADE 2022 and NYC 2023). All incredible experiences with ADE on a whole different level (Screen was gigantic and set list full on Pryda Progressive with bangers and classics). But his regular club and festival sets are more about the music, which in the end is what it’s all about.
There are only a few HQ videos that Eric has released (which is why we do this). If you don’t mind audio only you can listen to old episodes of his radio show.
