    And this is where I discover I've listenned to this song SO much I can sing the words with it, even though I don't speak this language. I have trickets to see Varekai for the first time in my life in March

    The lyrics to this song are complete gibberish. The words don't translate into any spoken language. It's bits of Portuguese, Spanish, french, mixed with nonsense words that don't mean anything in any language. I think the songwriter crafted the words based on how they sound which is really kind of brilliant!

    • @GalopaWXY

      I did think about using the live version of this song, but I felt that people would complain about the sound of the applause from the audience. I know how you feel. I did wish that Cirque used this version but in studio form on the soundtrack instead of this version.

    • @ozuboy
      @ozuboy Před 10 lety +5

      It's ok. I just wanted to hear the song, not caring about the people applauding, i really like the live version, can you upload it?

      I believe this song is actually a fictional language called ‘cirquish’. Basically a bunch of random words from different languages mixed with fictional ones.

      El cirquish (también llamado Lenguaje del Cirque o Idioma de Saltimbanco) es un idioma ficticio inventado por Cirque du Soleil en el cual se cantan la mayoría de canciones compuestas y escritas para los espectáculos y presentaciones.
      Historia
      Aunque el uso de palabras étnicas fue utlizado en Nouvelle Expérience, fue para el espectáculo Saltimbanco, que los compositores crearon un idioma inventado en el cual se cantaban las canciones del espectáculo y fue denominado como Idioma de Saltimbanco, sin embargo, este lenguaje siguió utilizadonse para las posteriores creaciones y se utiliza hoy en día en la mayoría de los espectáculos. El cirquish, si bien no tiene un significado preciso, se ha "traducido" y adaptado a diferentes espectáculos y bandas sonoras.
