It's bits of Portuguese, Spanish, french, mixed with nonsense words that don't mean anything in any language. I think the songwriter crafted the words based on how they sound which is really kind of brilliant!
I did think about using the live version of this song, but I felt that people would complain about the sound of the applause from the audience. I know how you feel. I did wish that Cirque used this version but in studio form on the soundtrack instead of this version.
