      That makes sense, his legs and arms might've been fine but if his core was messed up then he wouldn't have been able to get up. Plus, let's be honest, no way in hell was that guy in proper fighting shape. He underestimated Idris and paid for it.

    As someone who has been watching combat my whole life from kung fu movies as a child to watching ufc and mma for over 20 years, that was a dive and i went straight to comments to see if it was a real bout or not being they saying it is. Im no fool but still Idris moves well. At one point he hit a counter cross jab into fake cross to get his head off center to his own left while taking a step forward to get in range to hit a rear knee. I was like "what the hell? How long hes been training??" Im self taught so i dont know how long to be trained by a professional to look like that but he looks like hes had a years training i would say. Maybe 1.5 to 2?

    • @cemilbeyzade5491
      @cemilbeyzade5491 Před 7 lety +1

      First of all, MMA means Mixed Martial Arts which includes Kickboxing also. I still believe it doesnt show clearly at all. If it was they would replay it. Plus if you ever watch a kickboxing game, when the guys knocked out they dont act like this dude checking around on the mat with full conciseness. It is clearly fake and he was a bad actor.

    Elba > Bond

    • @Justin.JM.McNeil
      @Justin.JM.McNeil Před 7 lety +1

      I think you mean "Elba = Bond". What you wrote is basically "Elba is greater than Bond", which doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

    • @nettricegaskins1871
      @nettricegaskins1871 Před 7 lety +1

      Actually, it (Elba > Bond) makes a whole lot of sense. For months, people have indicated that Elba cannot play Bond because he's not qualified. He clearly is and no even just as an actor. Most actors that played Bond in the past can't or won't do what he's doing off screen.

    • @Justin.JM.McNeil
      @Justin.JM.McNeil Před 7 lety

      it doesn't. i'm not debating if he's worthy of playing bond, because i agree that he his. you're wording is incorrect though as it doesn't make sense.

    • @Justin.JM.McNeil
      @Justin.JM.McNeil Před 7 lety +1

      the way you've worded this is as if you've compared elba to bond (a fictional character, which in itself is already a flawed comparison) and conclude that elba is greater than bond. how does this make sense? if you honestly think this actor who is learning kickboxing could somehow be better than james bond is delusional. bond would wreck elba in a heartbeat.
      now if that's _not_ what you meant then, as i stated before, you should have wrote "elba = bond"-- as if to say elba _is_ bond. this would imply that he has everything it takes to embody the character of james bond on screen.

I'm sure he has a new respect for the reality of fight life, you're on your own and no-one sees the behind the scenes. It is very satisfying to see him improve to such a stage eventually, and having a very true fight even with him losing will only inspire truthful minds, and would should everyone that the way to success is not easy, and certainly not taken with shortcuts.

He owes no one anything. Absolutely nothing. So it makes no sense to me, at his age to now decide to fight. Go make your movies and enjoy your life.
