I've lived overseas for 18 years.
Yes! When I lived in Japan and returned to the States, I also suffered severe reverse culture shock.
In the States, people say:
"So...how was Japan?" You have 3 minutes to reply until their eyes glaze over!!!
I remember in the supermarket the cashier ask me: "Paper or plastic?" I remember thinking..."Paper or plastic WHAT?" 😂😂😂
At least they asked, I have to request paper in TN and they look at me as if I asked for the moon...then they have to scramble to find paper bags and of course, they don't have them.
Omg I love y’all’s girl talks please keep them coming when y’all are together!😍🙌🏾
100%😭❤️ we love making them!!
Why can’t I give this video 100 thumbs up?!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🥰🥰🥰
I love this! So glad we got to reunite 🥺💕 MISS YOU ALREADY LOL
miss YOU already!!! happy these videos will live on forever hehehe
Love you guys and I just subscribed. Refreshing with beautiful babes. Love it!
thank you!
Simply perfect
I also don't like small talk. I think I would do well in France, LOL!
i think you would too😂
Too good!
Ayeeee Pisces Gang! I’m living in Phoenix, Arizona moving to France! May of 2022! So excited !
for toilette. In french toilette is the same word for the action to wash yourseft "faire sa toilette". The word doesn't have a dirty connotation as in English. On the contrary, it inspires cleanliness.
A toilet is a toilet tbh, we are not in the 19 century roman you know
i want get back to france. i luv france as you live
YESSSS
Hope you will make other videos like this together in the future :)
I don't mind the small talk or even asking how are you, especially when dealing with workers in the service industry because you never know the day they've had. People treat service workers as if they are slaves and it's so rude. cool video!
Totally agree, I love the friendliness in the States, thanks for watching☺️
Tiana thank you for your timely response 😊 What is rent like in that area and do you still live there ? Your videos are super fun and informative. Thank you !
Yes, I still live there. Rent in Nice is not the cheapest but definitely cheaper than Paris; you can find a nice place for around 500-600 euros/month, the bigger the space the more expensive it will be of course :) Happy to help!
Lmao I laughed so hard at this video. All facts were stated in it!
i’m so glad you enjoyed it!!❤️
You are funny ! Lol 😄
🤣 thank you
Sounds like neither want to live in the US, glad one of you left ❤
Thank you for your timely response. One more question. Please 🙏🏿what area in Nice does it rain alot
Nice is on the French Riviera, which is a mediterranean climate. It rains very few, mainly in March/April and in November. But very, very slightly.
LOL literally why can we carry guns but not a beer😭😭😂
we live in the land of no sense😭😭😭
So why ask when they don't care? It seems a little redundant. Just say Hi or Hello, no? In Europe if someone asks something you are certain they are interested and want to have a genuine discussion with you about something. In USA it's just confusing. How does someone ask if they really want an answer? They say How are you doing and then you only say Fine and you will come across as rude. It just doesn't make any sense whatsoever...
Can you tell me where you live in Nice. I’ll google or CZcams to look around. I want to visit but don’t know where to land. I want butcher fish bread market in walking distance not to rainy. Please. Any suggestions
Jean-Médecin & Place Massena are the most popular/central areas in Nice, you are sure to find something there 🙂
