You know you're one of the GOATS when you can go to another teams stadium and hit multiple homers, and the home team even cheers for you.
Most of the crowd there was Cardinals fans.
@@The_Gamer_91 Felt bad for Nolan Gorman. He is from Phenix and he pinch hit for Pujols today towards the end of the game and he got booed
@@Anthonycharles9080 and heâs from Arizona too so welcome home I guess đ
@@Anthonycharles9080 thatâs fucked up.
Lame
He is still a machine, hopefully he makes it to 700, something to never forget if it happens
And passes Arod at 697
He not a machine. He just Albert.. beep boop.
Sit him on the bench like they have done the past couple years. let a true star play like Jared Walsh and Eric Hosmer
against the Padres he will hit 700 book it
@@Nicckk1127 arod still living rent free in ppls head lol
I "invested" in a few Albert Pujols rookie cards 20 years ago. I can't believe #700 isn't too far away. Keep it up Tio Albert!
Out of curiosity, how much would they sell for today?
I spent that year searching pack after pack for his rookie card. Did end up getting one!!
@@SubjectSierra Depending on the maker and the grade of the card, it could range anywhere from $.34 all the way to $152. However, I'm sure that once he passes 700 hr that the value will be higher.
@@SubjectSierra Depends. Some go for $50-100. The 2001 Bowman Chrome autograph Albert Pujols rookie card is somewhere around $4000 or more for a raw mint copy.
@@Chiwalker just curious, where are you pulling those values from?

He's Doesn't Again By Pujols
I sincerly hope he makes it to 700. A legend of the game. He was a star for me growing up, i wont ever forget his name.
Albert almost hit 3 in a row. His third bat the Cards announcer said too much top spin kept it too low and a line drive but the ball was smoked. I have followed baseball since being old enough to do so starting in 1960, and it is so rare to perform at 42 at this level. Albert just passed Stan Musial for total bases all-time tonight and only Henry Aaron will remain ahead of him as number one.
He hasn't been 42 for at least a few years.
yea they are pitching to him like its batting practice. how does nobody see this
@@italianmiltyfriedman6264 It must only be the southpaws throwing him batting practice. He still hits lefties.
This guy has given the gave so much already. To be doing this on his last season is truly a gift.
Skini czcams.com/video/a1j9owBuwdQ/video.html
is it his last season though? the crowd wanted a curtain call and he never gave it. He might play another year if he doesn't hit 700 this year imo.
@@WutTheDeuceGaming no heâs said on multiple occasions that it is his last season, regardless of if he gets the milestone or not.
@@WutTheDeuceGaming Albert's not going to play another year
@@WutTheDeuceGaming he wants to go out on top
Pujols has hit more homeruns in the last week than the whole Yankees team
And whatâs funny about it is he most likely gonna pass a Yankee to be number 4 on the all time home run list
@Kevin L It means he is en fuego and might make his big sample finish with 700 homers.
@Kevin L I mean he's making history and contributing to a team trying to be play better than the Yankees and succeeding partly to what he's doing so at the very lest that makes it meaningful
@Kevin L Sounds like a butt hurt Yankees fan! đ

I hope Albert Pujols gets that 700th home run.
First one being legendary Hank Aaron.
@@timwilson3150 absolutely! Gotta respect the legends! Excited that the possibility to witness it is happening during this era of baseball. I was a 10 year old kid when he came up to the Cardinals and got to spend many many hours watching him play in STL. This is getting too surreal!

@@Samuel-H I grew up watching Hank hit this landmark as Iâm sure a lot of baseball fans have. Itâs truly a remarkable feat. Thereâs still a lot of baseball left this season. Letâs hope he hits that 700 home run mark.
Man it is fun watching him play
Oh boy, the road to 700 is real and I'm just amazed how Albert still hits like that.
I hope he reaches 700 and I know they say itâs his last season but he should play til he gets the record itâs an honor watching this greatness at his age too and donât forget with no steroids. Simply amazing. Correct me if Iâm wrong.
Albert pujos the goat the machine the man. He will hit 700 home runs this season.
If not I canât imagine he still retires
@@oneshottatortotgaming1985 he came out and said it doesnât matter to him if he doesnât get it and this year is 100% it for him

I'm a lifelong Cubs fan with a fairly strong dislike of all things "Cardinals." This said, Pujols chasing 700 HR is perhaps my favorite part of the 2022 season. Tio Albert is the GOAT. - Dodgers here
Letâs go Pujols đșđč
Albert pujols is the GOAT!!! I've been watching him play since 2001 and this is amazing to watch almost 22 years later
If Albert never left St. Louis...how many homeruns would he have?
He'd be close to 800 now I believe. But we probably never would of picked up goldy.
@FuzzyDunlop - Good question. I can tell you this. I live in St. Louis and he was an icon like we hadnât seen in quite a while. Not even close. He literally grew up here in St. Louis starting his career. His first 10 years here were just unbelievable. Then he goes to the Angels, and the past 10 years were just average at best in my opinion. Out in LA he was just another ball player because LA is so huge and thereâs so much to do out there, and they have 2 teams. Plus, Iâm sure he had a lot of pressure because he had a huge contract as well. If he wouldâve stayed here his entire career, there wouldâve been no pressure, and I think he wouldâve probably had at least 750. Keep it up Albert.
Probably not as many as he has. Being a DH for the Angels extended his career or he probably wouldn't even be playing in 2022.
750 right now!!!
Less. Being able to DH with the Angels is the reason he's even able to still play now. If he had to play in the field every game the past 11 years he would have already retired.
The machine đđ
VAMOSSS PUJOLS!!
And the fact that these came off of Bumgarner makes this even better!!
Pujols is playing stellarly lately! 4-4 yesterday with 2 home runs, the grand slam like 2/3 games ago, he will get to 700!
Pujols is making baseball exciting even if that isn't the team you cheer for
Bro it would be nice to see him catch Barry Bonds 762 but watching this now is a blessing.. Iâm so happy for AP đđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸ

Oh the Memories. WELL DONE JOSĂ ALBERTO PUJOLS!!!
Albert Pujols is the GOAT!!!
I'm a Yankee fan and Dominican but Pujols coming back to Cardinals was the best thing that happened to this team. They end up passing the Brewers in NL Central who were making the playoffs and Cardinals took over the division lol.
If St Louis wins the World Series this year, Pujols will have his 3rd ring. He should have never left to the Angels in the first place.
Could have had a chance to win a couple more World Series in St Louis and goes to Anaheim for a big pay day.
He almost destroyed his career going to the Angels. Should have never left. Glad that Pujols turned the Cardinals around and his career. He deserves all the success he's had in MLB.
Would be only the third ever player to legit get 700 homers without cheating.. amazing

Prime Albert and prime Cabrera were soo good.
Pujols is something too look out for!
I like how the centerfielder learned on the second one that it's futile to jump to try and catch a ball that's so far past the wall it's hitting the digital ad sign.
